Ok what I meant with my rambling was, in a nutshell;

Theory 1: Livia did it

Theory 2: Dhuum made Livia do it, therefore Liv is a puppet in the plot, Dhuum being the real baddie.

It was two similar but alternate theoroes in one post I didn't seperate very clearly.

At any rate as much as I would like to see either of those theories realized the Mursaat theory still holds the most logical power here. (of course it'll probably end up being some new random person/threat)

If Livia will be made to be the culprit, I hope they don't put Dhuum behind it. Too common in GW, they can come up with something better.

It'll end up being Lazarus or Dhuum/Menzies. Imo, those two have the most hold, and a brand new person would bring in too many loose ends.

This lore doesn't make much sense because why would Livia fight as a hero along side you or I to defeat the Golems that she commissioned to assassinate the leaders?

If you say that it was a way to get "in good" with the leaders through her seemingly noble actions, then you cannot discount my more plausible argument that MOX, designed by the same Asura, is a mole.

If you were a baddie, would you take the chance that your buddy that you're trying to frame for these assassinations would make it back to Zinn's lair, with you in tow, to have Zinn recognize you and reveal you to the hero you're trying to frame? Because in the game, we pick three heroes to assist us, but in the Lore, they're always with us. They're always alongside us in our adventures fighting the same fight. If this were the case, there would be something in the code that would trigger a response from Zinn if Livia is in the party when you find him in his lair. This code doesn't exist, I'm pretty sure of it...because I'll bet SOMEONE took livia along in a fight to his lair with everyone's obsession with triple necro hero teams, and it would be very well known by now, just like Gwen in the start of the Underworld.

MOX being the mole is more easily done with Zinn being the mastermind than Livia commissioning an innocent Asura to create this junk then fighting against it, then allowing herself to be recognized BY said innocent asura with 25 other heroes that can royally mess her up present and accounted for in the depths of a stronghold protected by advanced security.

Livia I can pretty much guarantee you is not the new villain. Maybe she becomes a new villain later on down the road but while she's available to use as a Hero in GW1, she's likely not behind any wrongdoing. If some new content comes out where a certain hero is captured or killed a la Koss after Consulate Docks thus becoming unavailable, I'll start to suspect that hero as the villain.

2) The Undead followed Khilbron because he was a lich, but also the Scepter of Orr allows the weilder to control undead/spirits. And it is the controlling of spirits that allowed the controlling of Titans (as Titans are made from tortured spirits).

I go with the latter, as that gives the Scepter of Orr more power for a powerful object (but the former would match with what we know of the Staff of the Mists better).
The Lich still seemed to have control of the undead even without the Scepter. It's possible that the Sceptre does in fact provide control, but the Vizier didn't need it - except, as I said, it's a cover.

A possible addendum to #1 is to note that the Lich still seemed to be doing something with the Scepter to cause Titans to rise out of the lava. It's possible that while the Scepter doesn't control the Titans per se, it allowed him to have some control over the Door of Komalie (the Door certainly didn't seem to be as accessible as the torment rift in Nightfall, so it's possible that even with the Door 'open', the Titans needed help from the Sceptre to get through in any real numbers).

This works with the Scepter controlling forces beyond reality as well - while the Scepter isn't directly controlling the Titans, it is controlling the forces that allow them to arrive in the first place.

Still, my point was that the Titans probably aren't available as an army to the wielder of the Scepter - between the Titan Quests, Nightfall and the Domain of Anguish, the Titan army has probably been pretty much demolished. Of course, there might be some OTHER army that can be controlled by the Scepter, although that army's owner may not be as accommodating as Abaddon.

in the following post:

It is suggested that Nicholas may have some links with Mysterious Stranger. Indeed he is a bit "special" and we know he will be present on all 3 continents all being affected by the Mysterious Stranger actions. Any thoughts on that?

Nicholas is a "nice" guy, and shows no motives against humans, it's as likely as Livia, both very far fetched. Connecting the two just because of the "Mysterious" items is very very far fetched.

Nicholas was believed to be Vael at first, by myself and others I talked to in-game, but Linsey said he is not, and with the update we know he is not. x)

I think Nicholas is just simply a traveler, and nothing more. Nicholas, Vael, and the "Mysterious Stranger" are three different entities.

I doubt Nicolas is the Mysterious Stranger because the Stranger apparantly had an actual goal - Nicolas doesnt he just wanders on and on. He also has that Yak with him all the time. The Mysterious Stranger can apparantly just appear out of nowere which i think would be hard for Professor Yakington and Nicloas to do.

This week Nicholas dialogue:

"By the gods, what an amazing place! Yakkington and I were on the way to visit Zinn when we detoured to the west to avoid a large group of trolls, and what a sight to be rewarded with! You know, I've heard tales of something called a Gloom Seed. They say it comes from a realm beyond ours, a realm that has something to do with statues of the gods. I know not how to enter such a place if this is indeed it, nor would I if I could. I dare not travel where Yakkington can't follow, but if you could somehow return with one for me, then I would forever be in your debt! I've always wanted to behold what kind of plant could come from a seed of such legend."

So he knows who is Zinn and where he is located. That may be some additional clue no?

I'd say it's the live team saying they haven't forgotten about this case.

I doubt that Nicholas would want the human governments to fall.

I think that would actually clear him. If he knows Zinn then its very unlikely he was the Mysterious Stranger.

More accurately, if he admits to knowing Zinn and Zinn knows him, it's unlikely that he's the Stranger.
