I can't find the post I want because this thread of full of idiots like the guy above me, who aren't giving any useful input and filled most of the pages.

Anyway, someone said it would either be margonites or torment demons. Shouldn't it be margonites AND torment demons because they're both followers of Abaddon? It's like saying the SAS would beat the Royal Marines. They wouldn't, they're on the same team.

Anyway, my vote would lie with titans/margonites/torment demons/anyone else under Abaddon's command. He attacked the other 5 gods and managed to beat 2 of them for a reason - he is the most powerful. (Disregard the fact you kill him ingame by slashing away at his chin, nothing that happens ingame really makes sense).

Edit: However, I expect this will change in GW2. The dragons are probably going to be more powerful than Abaddon. They might not necessarily have armies, however, so Abaddon (a god) + his army of titans + his army of margonites + his army of torment demons + his army of Kournans following Varesh could be able to kill a dragon.

Not sure if your talking about one of my posts - i said somewere that it would all come down to the Margonites + Torment Demons and Titans vs Mursaat. In the end Abaddon owns half the forces in the game so he would win in a huge fight.

It was both Free Runner and Myself, of course I originally said the "Evil God Alliance" of Abaddon, Dhuum, and Menzies, as they own over half of the armies, and nearly all of the armies in the elite areas.

I think it would be kinda a no-contest if Abaddon, Dhuum, and Menzies are all together (if base defenders don't count). Maybe we should try splitting them up a bit? Like Margonites, Shadow Army, and Torment Demons.

Shit, I forgot about Dhuum and Menzies being allied with Abaddon. Ok, I agree. Abaddon, Menzies and Dhuum split up, but I still think Abaddon wins. He has margonites, titans, torment demons and the Kournans on his side and he's the most powerful god. Menzies has shadow people, he's only a demi-god. Dhuum has quite a large army, though - pretty much all the enemies in UW.

What I still don't understand, though, is why Dhuum has his army. Grenth took his godhead, would the terrorweb dryders and his other followers not worship their new master? My only idea is that they are fighting against Grenth either for revenge or to get him to a weak position from which Dhuum can reclaim his power (I assume Dhuum is currently a demon, or some other non-god form).

On a side note, doesn't it seem rather ridiculous how we managed to complete Nightfall with the only significant injury being Kormir's eyes being eaten? (And nobody likes her, anyway).
Think about it, think about all the people Abaddon commands. At Gate of Madness, Abaddon could have sent The Lich and Shiro with his entire margonite army, his entire torment army, every single titan, all the Shiro'ken, all the afflicted, the entire shadow army, every single terrorweb dryder, the entire undead horde (the undead in Kryta, not in the Desolation) and possibly some Kournans that sneaked into the Realm of Torment along with Dhuum and Menzies himself.

Who wins, 3 players and some heroes or them?

Keep in mind that for the most part when we go through the Realm of Torment we're usually just running between "safe zones" enforced by the forgotten, really most of the enemies we faced there were patrols. Essentially we were fighting a guerilla war against Abbadon at that point, sending small groups out to sabatoge and kill specific targets. That and we were all lightbringers, I personally think that lore wise that title gave us more power over Abbadons forces than the in game bonuses would have us believe.

As Shadowmere said, we used guerilla tactics against Abaddon, so we wouldn't get many casualties. Also, we have rezes so deaths are then saved .

As for the Dhuum issue you brought up, either Dhuum created those demons after his fall, meaning he is now a demi-god. That, or those demons are really devout to Dhuum instead of Grenth, which wouldn't be that shocking.

Hord of Darkness, Kanaxai aspects have semi-invincible mode on and would probably kill everything in game.

Horde of Darkness ftw. The Mursaat are ok. Pretty sure Dhuum would come in a close second though.

What about the Undead? They can't die. "How do you kill that which has no life?"

Aight...since there are no player involvement with Lux/Kurz, they are just humans...not that good. Shiro'ken, provided Shiro wasn't banished forever yet, would win, because Shiro Tagachi is a BEAST!!

Hmm...after reading all the other posts, I guess Abbadon would win out of sheer numbers... *sigh* I'm still rooting for Shiro :P

Ah, but Shiro is under Abaddon, so he would technically win still.

All in all it comes down to the major forces - Abbadons Margonites + Torment Forces (Including Titans but not including Menzies or Dhuums forces), Mursaat + White Mantle and The Destroyers. Those 3 armies fighting would end with Destroyers last and Margonites + Torments first.
But they DO have their own god.

A god, and thus a religion, does not mean an army.

And i'm sure that will help them greatly when facing overwhelming numbers of Margonites, Titans, Destroyers and the Torment hordes. Skale armies generally means small groups of Skale that have managed to work together, but that cant compare with the higher armies, who have all at least once been considered a huge threat to the world of Tyria.

I would also like to point out that the god, Moa'vu'Kaal, the Istan Skales worshipped was actually given his power by Abaddon. Meaning the thing the skales worshiped was probably on the same...scale as one of Abaddons common Margonites.

...What? I don't recall that ever being noted in any quest dialogue or any dialogue during the quest. Where are you getting that from?
