Default Jadoth's crime

I've been reading the scriptures again and this bit had me wondering. Jadoth was being driven by whole armies of Forgotten and afterwards an entire armada came to pursue him. He was not gifted with magic yet and was just a human , so why did the Forgotten pursue him like that?

Was he the one to defile the 5 gods's statues in the Temple of the Six Gods? Even so the gods were not yet at odds with eachother.

These have a lot of info, but still don't fully answer you question, I don't think there is.

I suspect it dates back to the time of the war of the 6 gods, Jadoth might have been the leader of the group of margonites that worshipped Abaddon and became the margonites that we know from NF. That was likely a no retreat/no surrender war and Jadoth was the last surviving member of Abaddons army.

I also think that the process of binding Abaddon also required the other five to leave Tyria.

I also think that the Mursaat were part of the other five gods coalition and built the realm of tormnent prision for Abaddon, and so, along with the seer race became the guardians of the gate to torment. As the bloodstones became depleated the Mursaat decided to keep the stone charged at whatever cost and started the war with the Seer race that was part of the prophecies story line.

Considering the similarites between the Mursaat and Margonites, and that the jade armor heads do resemble Abaddon, I suspect that the Mursaat and the Margonites came from the same race. They broke into 3 sects, the Margonites led by Jadoth that fought with Abaddon, the Mursaat lead by King Doric that fought with the five gods and a sect that was neutral. That neutral sect may have felt abandoned by the the remaining five and wanted to go to their realm, by repentance (sugested by the Ghostly Hero) or by force (sugested by the GW Taiwan website).

Something is amiss when such forces are dispatched to deal with one lone human , not even a magic user.

So, was Jadoth just the first Margonite to be all 6-eyed and glowy? Because I kind of wondered why, if he was the first to be blessed by Abaddon, he was serving Mallyx?

As Konig says: We simply don't know.

That said, I personally suspect that Jadoth was just one of the first to receive the gift of magic, rather than that event happening after Abaddon's fall. Why he was being chased isn't known, but we do know that around this time humanity was pushing the Forgotten out of their territories - Jadoth may simply have been on the wrong side of the proverbial line that the Forgotten drew in the sand.

It's also possible that the Scriptures aren't exactly accurate, and that Jadoth lied about how he came to be in those circumstances.
