Default Dervishes' Hood

Quote:
Kahmu is unusual among Dervishes in that he does not hood his head, which is considered a mark of respect for the Gods of Tyria among the Dervishes.
Found this on Kahmu's wiki page. Was wondering where people got this from, As I've never heard the Dervish's hood being a mark of respect to the Gods.

It's in the Guild Wars manuscripts for Nightfall.

I didn't know that.
In the light of this new knowledge I must get my Derv a haircut so he can proudly show his head.

that's an interesting tidbit about Kahmu, I wonder what his dealio is?

I'm going to suggest we halt all Crisis in Cantha development and focus efforts into why Kahmu doesn't wear a hood

/sarcasm

Maybe it has something to do with his relationship with the Norn.... I don't know, maybe you should just ask him.

No hero, as far as I recall, except Razah and Xandra shows their headpiece.

I think it has more to deal with the whole "hero npc" thing rather than it having some lore value to it. And with Ritualists, it's rather a "we have these things to see spirits better" in lore, simplified.

Wonder why Ritualists are the only heroes with headpieces showing...

I'd say because the headwrap is a iconic piece of Ritualist armor. The headpiece is what stands out from Ritualists.

Also, as you said yourself:
