My main character is a Protection Monk that dabbles in Smiting when the occasion arises... that'd make her a follower of Balthazar.

I'm not sure I really have a main character... I haven't played long enough for one in particular to stand out, but my Warrior is a devoted, bloodthirsty follower of Menzies, my Necromancer and Ritualist follow Dhuum, and my Elementalist follows Abaddon. I have to say, mortals truly killing a god? Unlikely. Mortals helping stage the god's 'death' so as to further his plans and let the mortal (leecher) Kormir believe she has become a god, on the other hand... seems like something the God of Secrets would bring about.

Not to mention Abaddon can dance way, way better than the other gods. He's so good, my entire team challenged him to a dance battle and we got served.

Greneth. I love necros. My belief is this:

1) you will die one day, Dwayna's powers will not keep you alive forever; Balthazar will send you to Greneth; Melandru just shrugs and says such is life; Lyssa - can you really trust her?; Abaddon - a god beaten by mortals, can't worship anyone I can beat up.

2) Greneth and Dwayna have a contest every year, let it snow, let it snow.

3) Withouth death, the planet of Tyria will be over populated and everyone will have the survivor title.

War, Life, Death and Nature seem a bit dull to me. I do like Grenth, mainly for how my Dervish looks as his avatar, but I'm gonna go with Lyssa and Abaddon - Illusion and Secrets seem interesting to me. I think though, Abaddon would have to be my favourite of the two because Margonite simply look amazing.

1: Dwayna, shes the leader, the strongest, and is hot...plus healing rocks.
2: Melandru, earth magic and is equally as hot as dwayna.
3: Grenth, he gives great strength to all who follow him.
4: Lyssa, i love her for the energy but the siamese twin thing is weird.
5: Kormir, i like what she stands for but its hard to get used to her being a god.
6: Balthazar, hes a stupid wammo...
7: Abbadon, hes really lazy and biased.

Kormir or Menzies both are pretty much the same but Menzies is the half-brother of Balthazar so might have the same views on war. But we all know there are only 5 Gods. opps had to eddit it Menzies cause he's evil lol. and I forgot Lyssa is 2 gods so mybad there are 6.

Plus apart from Balthazar, who else has their own acension-only area?

Arguement no.3, Grenth has lots of cool classes in his back yard, Necros, Rits, Dervishes, Water Eles, all are good.

Actually, despite the skill names, Grenth is the only god that doesn't give something to Dervishes. Scythe is Balthazar, Earth Melandru, Mysticism Lyssa, and Wind is... Dwayna. A bit weird with all the scythe imagery and Grenth-related skill names, I know, but there you go.

On the other hand, according to the lore, Assassins are nearly as closely associated with Grenth as with Lyssa. I guess they just didn't want to make both new classes in Factions associated with Grenth...
