Is there an armor crafter in the first city. I have seen the weapons crafter, but I do not see anyplace to craft armor.

I don't believe so, if you want new armor you have to find the collectors, and gather the goods they want, most of them will give you a new piece of armor as one of the choices.

I'm sure there is an armour guy there thats where i got my ar 30 ele armour from. This is post sear i'm talking about btw.

That's right. Just wait till after the Searing and you'll be amazed how fast your money and materials run out.

If you are talking about pre-sear Ascalon, you get armor items from collectors but it means a lot of collecting and traveling around. I have given up getting armor from the collectors. It really doesn't give you much of an advantage and you need to upgrade with costly armor as soon as you get through the academy anyway. Save your money and salvaged items.
