Looking, where can i craft platemail armor?
I just became level 15, and I have been saving gold, wood, and iron for awhile... I went out and made about 15 steel, and still have about 80 iron and 90 wood. (By the way I dont trade, It annoys me, so all my stuff was crafted or salvaged, Iam aware I can spend alot less gold, but unless I knew one person that I could goto for steel when I need it, its not worth my time.)
Now that I am 15, according to http://guildwars.ogaming.com/data/1677~types.php
I can now use Platemail... BTW, Is that the best armor in the game (Base, without runes or upgrades)? If its not let me know, and what would be some good upgrades for a Warrior/Monk who uses a sword (15-22)...
Well, anyways, back to the question at hand. Where is the crafter(s) for Platemail (or the best armor it thier is better)? So far I have all the way up to Lions Gate, to Divinity shores, to the Temple of Ages. I havent gotten south of the Black Curtain yet, (BECAUSE ITS HARD AS ----!).
But, Iam pretty sure thats were my crafter is, so whats the exact city the first crafter I will come across after the black curtain, that will be able to craft me platemail?
~thanks,
Mantralapse

Armor crafters will let you craft platemail when you get to Droknar's Forge, which is in the Shiverpeaks. So basically you can't get there until you're level 20.
Just to let you know, each piece of armor in Droknar's cost 1.5k to craft and some of them require 80 ignots alone. Save a ton of iron and steel. I'm not 100% of platemail because I'm focusing on Knight's armor which is really just as good IMO.
*edit*
I went to go look for you and this is what you'll need for full platemail armor:
200 iron
32 steel
7,500 gold

Yeah, uh, that armor list you're using is really out of date. Armor doesn't even go by level anymore, its just a matter of what you can afford and how far you've gotten. You're at least 2 major cities away from Droknar's Forge, so you've got some time to save up for that plate.
