I just spent 45 minute running all over following that brown path that you start on when you begin the Nolani mission and everywhere I go leads to a dead end. I found the guy with the book for the secondary mission but I can't figure out how to get down to ambush the Char. Any suggestions would be dgreatly appreciated!

If you got to the book, you should be able to make it to the wall from there. I won't spoil where you take that, but to ambush the Charr you'll need to head back toward the Academy and attack the various Charr groups from behind. Good luck!

Yeah, me and a few friends must've tried that mission about 5/6 times before we found the back door from the academy, lol. we just kept opening the door and killing the charr as they came through. It doesn't work like that though. lol.

That "dead end" you found. Does it look like a big log in blackness? If so, go to the left hand side and walk through, immediately turn right you will see the path. Take the book across the wall (you'll see it) and just after you go down off of the wall turn right up the hill. Use the ALT key to find the pedestal. After dropping off the book go back and char Charr!

I was in a group yesterday that successfully pulled off a "Just open the damn door, we'll take 'em" maneuver. We finished the mission in 15 minutes, it was great!

Which level/s were you? only figuring if I could have done it at lvl 9/10 party members...
