Hmm, I do the exact opposite. Run ahead of Rurik, aggro the group on the right. It pulls them in the way before you engage the other mass letting you wipe them out and making it safer to move down there as they can't charge in behind you. I guess the common thing is "ensure that the group on the right doesn't slam into you at the same time as you engage the group further down".

The trick to those missions is to either anihilate everything that exists (very hard if you're low leve) or avoid it all together.

i was with 3 others, a healer, necro, warrior.
i was the archer.
so i pumped out death from above on all the hunters, and with a longbow was able to reach some of the axe fiends all the way down the bottom, picked off one before my party got bored
anyway, if you go out the backway of the castle (dont open the door), and follow the paths around, then you can take out heaps of enemies before rurik even gets outside the castle.

Funny, I've done that mission 5-6 times now (helping guildies get caught up), and every time I do the prince runs off on his own rampage after blowing that horn, but he seems pretty much indestructable. He'll get a huge pile of mobs on him and just won't die. I've never seen his health go below ~60% before it just jumps right back up to 100% like he's got a monk in his pocket. Really odd since in the mission just before he's made out of glass.

It almost seems like they made him smarter too - he waits more than he used to. I remember the first time I did the quest I couldn't keep up with him, was almost always running after him hoping I'd have energy by the next fight. Now he waits for you to move up before running off again. I miss the old, impulsive, overconfident Rurik that would get himself killed (he also seems tougher/heals more...)

Is there a bonus mission of some sort for Nolani co-op?
I've seen some map with 2 swords on the icon for Nolani academy, so I got curious about it ..
A few things I've tried:
- Helped the mage who's standing in front of the first gate to survive
- found Warmaster Casana and the Lost Soldiers
- clicked on each and every of the extinguished Charr braziers below the horn
- clicked on the Tome Pedestal just north of the wall and way to the west
Nothing so far .. what am I missing?

Get to warmaster whats his name (hold ALT when you are on ur way to the wall you should be able to see him, he's in some little way near an open area with lots of gargoyles), then take the Book of the deaths you get from him and put it on the tome pedestal, which you already found...

I just had a really large dispute with a monk who used a rez signet to rez someone once, then refues to rez anyone else because he said we should have our rez signets equipped also. I know I should have a rez spell, but for being a R/N and having not lost ONE person with this character in any of the previous parties I had been in, I did no think that this Mo/E would be that ignorant to not have a multi rez spell by this quest. Now my dispute with him was that a multi rez spell should have been acquired by a Monk by then but he begged to differ eventhough I was sure he used a rez spell at least twice. I now have this person on ignore, so could someone help me by telling me when and where a multi rez is picked up as soon as possible after searing? I was pretty sure that I had picked up a multi rez awhile before this mission with my E/Mo around 2-3 weeks ago, but since it has been that long, I can't be for sure. So, could anyone help with this? A courteous PM or a small reply would be nice.
Edit: Nevermind! I found what I was looking for at http://forums.gwonline.net/showthread.php?t=346582
post #7 also see post #12 second page for detailed info on where to get the quest... Heheh if you are reading this Monk Powaaa, then who's right? Lol! I hate it when people are that ignorant that they spend the whole mission cussing you out because they forgot to pick up the most needed spell for Monk in this part of the game! Now, I'm going Alesia or uber PC Guild Monk only... this kid single handedly ruined my experience with PC Monk relations.
