Curse

Ok so the first time I did this quest was with other people. The objectives were...

Kill inner council member Argyle.
Kill inner council member Bolivar.
Kill inner council member Cuthbert.
Talk to Captain Grumby.

We killed all the members and I didn't talk to Grumby yet and I was wrapped to the next island without the mission completed.

So I went back and attempted the mission with henchman. We killed the three council members and I talked to Grumby and nothing happened. On my quest log it said I completed all the objectives... So I abandoned the quest and did it agian. But the same result happened...

What's going on here?

I couldn't talk to Grumby at all. He just said 'I'm so scared!' or whatever. I abandoned the quest .. it's xp I don't need anyway.

You need to eliminate ALL the enimies around him and he should reward you after killing the council members...I did this, he gave me the xp and I went back to town. Upon arrving there I noticed a green ! and went to check it out..Turns out they gave me final blow again...Kinda pointless, but its xp :|

There's an NPC in Ring of Fire that finishes the quest after you talk to Grumby.

Yep, that worked for me. It's a shame so many people still don't know about it yet.

Ah ha! I thought it was a glitch at first. I just met that npc in ember light camp and said "wtf? I've done this" lol
