***Dragon's Lair Mission***
Ok so I complete the mission and the dragon tells you to go through the portal, but I press 'alt' and I look around and I see some 'Dragon Eggs' over on the far side of the room. I go and I pick it up but right when I do the dragon aggros me and my party (I had all henchies with me). We try and fight him but the henchies are just too weak we get him to like 1/4 left but can't get him any further so I just deciede to die.
But before I fought the dragon, it toled me to go to the shiverpeaks to save some people, but I don't know specifically where in the shiverpeaks?

It is where this Portal would have led you - that's why you should go through it on your first try just in case you can't bring the dragon down (which would be the bonus of this mission).

well you can, but its one long walk and you will need a full party of really good players that are willing to stay logged into that game for an hour or more. going strait south from borlis pass i think with a party of only 6 would be really hard. much easier to just complete dragons lair again.

Just straight south from Borlis?
I would rather just explore alittle more of the map than just go do the mission again. I can do pretty well with henchies, I move pretty slow killing most monsters along the way.
I'll give it a try today when I get home.

FYI, I also fought the dragon and died, you still win the mission.
You get a little cut scene saying, 'you should know when you're outmatched' and then the dragon let's you walk through the portal as normal. No reason not to give it a shot.
Cheers.

Didn't the dragon basically rez you all and send you packing on your way to Droknar's? I did a second run of the mission to grab skills and failed at killing the dragon, but still got sent to Droknar's because we weren't meant to die...

Good luck. No offense but walking south from northen shiverpeaks to southern shiverpeaks means fighting packs of 5+ foes who are lvl22/24 using 5 henchmen who are lvl10/12.
That said, after the dragon portal cinematics, your mission is over. You should have a map (Droknar's Forge) in southern shiverpeaks. Check out the GW map. The egg is just a bonus. If you don't have it, doing the dragon mission again will be much faster than walking for hours and dying zillion times in the Snake Dance.

It's south from Beacon's Perch. If your party dies doing the bonus, you should still get to the Forge. But on one of my attempts at Dragon's Lair, we had a dude go AFK, and the rest of us got wiped doing the bonus. Since the AFK guy was still alive and out of aggro range, we couldn't get to Drocknar's Forge. Waited about 30 mins before giving up and doing the mission again.

I forgot to mention that one of my henchies was stuck behind a bolder off to the side of the dragon. I was sitting for like 10 min waiting for the dragon to go over and kill him but he never did. So I just map warped to Yak's.

ahhh now theres the problem.... poor henchie so scared his feet got frozen <_<
Try looking for a new place to warp too on your map, you might find you already unlocked it when you got the mission exp.

We tried for over an hour to kill the dragon and didn't beat her, when she was recharging party members were casting and she was gaining more health, and some people dont understand "dont use any magic", it seemed almost impossible to beat her though

I killed Glint last night with a group of seven people. (We did have eight, but a W/R used us just to get Melandru's Resilience from the Facet of Nature. Once she'd captured that skill, she ditched like a bitch.)
Quite frankly, it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. We had one awesome dedicated Monk and two half-dedicated half-nuking E/Mo's healing us. We also brought a mesmer, and the rest were warriors of some shape.
The key thing to killing Glint is interrupts. If you don't interrupt her massive heal, you might as well just leave. Interrupting Crystal Haze is important, too - that hex basically takes anything but an all-adrenaline warrior out of the game. Just bring a good mesmer, or some warriors with Savage Slash and Disrupting Chop.
And remember...
