It is quite an easy mission once you unravel it, here's another screeny from Elona.

Guild monk + me and rest henches. All mage group, killed everything along our chosen path and completed bonus.

~ 6 minutes to spare.

Hmm. I've done Elona Reach four times now with henchmen, and I always bring the warriors. Always finish with around 10-12 minutes on the clock, too. Just manage your aggro, and this is by far the easiest of the Ascension missions.

The easiest? Then why do I have the absolute hardest time doing it? I try it with henchies, and I actually get farther with them than if I had people. The problem is, I can only get one crystal, then I die on the other. And when I replay it, I manage to get the OTHER crystal fine, but I go to get the one I could get before, and groups pop up everywhere, the henchies attack when in range, and aggro every enemy there. There should be some sort of thing to select henchies to do this, or wait here, or stand ground, or something. I'm outta ideas on what to do

. I can only manage to get one thing at a time before dying...how is it so easy for you guys? (BTW....im a necromancer...like that helps anything...)

There is another thread around here with tips on how to pass Elona and the paths you should take with little maps and all and strategy.

The best thing I can suggest (well this applies to every mission) is not to rush and to try to learn the spawns and patrol routes of the enemies, this allows you to pick your fights and not run into them accidentally.

The only hard part about Elona is adds. The mob groups are a piece of cake by themselves.

Once you get a good path, you can beat it no problem.

Yes, if you have problems with it, just go to search, search by title, and click on the forum you want to search(this one) and search for words like Elona's Reach, Ascension Missions, and I'm sure you'll find something of use...

I even had a post here about a good route to take, leaving 10 minutes on the clock as my E/N...it's buried now
