You can bypass any of the missions (except perhaps Sanctum Cay later on). From Yak's Bend, you'll need to go north through the Traveler's Vale and into the Iron Horse Mine. From here, you'll head east into the Anvil Rock area. You can find the Icetooth Cave here. From here, head south into the Deldrimor Bowl. From there you can access Beacon's Perch, or go directly into Griffin's Mouth, Scoundrel's Rise and the Gates of Kryta.

You want advice? Join a group, henchies aren't that great for everything. If you are dieing with them you need to think of another option. Don't skip missions, you'll just end up in the desert at lvl 15 where no one will want group with you

hencmen stop being useful for missions at frost gate, with a few exceptions along the way (if you know what you are doing)

I just don't see the point, I've never had a problem with people. I've taken henches on missions and passed but could have easily done it with a team. Plus you still get about the same amount of drops.

So far I have made it to Divinity Coast with henchmen. You can do any mission far as I know with henchmen, sometimes you will need to do it multiple times to figure out a good strat.
Of course I am necro with heavy influence on death magic so 4 or more bodies is a HUGE help on these missions.

I'll probably bite the bullet and team up. I find random people on these games more annoying than helpful, but who knows... I might get lucky. There are many really nice people out there, it's just a case of a few bad apples. I'll try a run with real folk this afternoon.

The missions are incredibly easy all the way up to Sanctum clay, it doesn't matter if your team sucks. If you're dieing with henchman and other people are passing first time with a team, some light bulb should be appearing over your head anytime now.

I'm playing a level 13 W/Mo sword/healing/tactics/strength. I use the henchmen, soloing I guess. I prefer it that way.
Any advice would be appritiated.

I beat it on the first try with the henchmen last night.(I usually need 2 or 3 times to do a mission) I'm a level 14 W/Mo similar build as you, but with hammer instead of sword. Is there a particular part of the mission that is giving you trouble?
Hey sybban, Are you getting a commision for every person that you get to join a party of real people?

I dunno, everything after Gates of Kryta was really easy until Ascending. I just used Henchmen for the Seaboard and Coast missions, and joined a group for the Wilds and beat it on the first try. Bloodstone was pretty simple too. The only somewhat hard one was the Aurora Glade one.
Even the 3 Ascending Missions are not that hard. My friend did Elona's Reach with henchmen and did not die once, nor did any of the henchmen die. Dunes of Despair isn't too bad, and Thirsty River we almost beat it with 3 Henchies and no real monk, and only took 3 tries with a full human team our first time through. Dragon's Lair mission is also easily beat with the new level 20 missions.
After playing with the henchmen maybe 50% of the times for Missions, I'd have to say that the henchmen are better than real players 25% of the time.

This mission was a nightmare for me as well!
I had quite the time prevailing at this mission I went through the first 2 times with pick up groups and both of these groups thought it would be a good idea to aggro everything possible all at once so naturally we didnt make incredibly far several of them were dying as early as the first minotaurs. So after that I decided to try with henchmen well we were doing quite well then next thing i know my computer locks as soon as I am getting ready to activate the third lever switch much to my dismay I threw a little temper tantrum and went on about my business and restarted my computer. Next attempt same thing happened except my computer locked a little bit earlier this time so still frustrated I said I guess I have to complete it with real people. So i hopped into another pick up group and everything looked good all at least level 14 except one level 11 tank. We get out into the mission and this level 11 tank starts charging everything she gets killed pretty quickly but the monk would res her so all was good and naturally besides her blaming her stupidity on herself she takes it out on the monk just cussing him up and down telling him how Alecia does a better job healing then him and all that jazz. So he gets upset and leaves the group then that level 11 tank gets upset and leaves the froup then one more person leaves the group so me a level 15 E/R, and a level 15 w/mo, and a level 16 R/E go on to complete the last 3/4 of the mission by ourselves by the time it was all said and done my dp was at -45% and the other two were about the same but we did complete and I did get to see that stupid Prince taken away from this earth which made the whole mission worth it to me!

The Wilds is a very War/Mo unfriendly mission, actually. Swarms of spiders + poison = ouch. And forget trying to do the bonus unless you have a very good puller, as coming anywhere near melee range in the area before Ramtha and Horm brings a good dozen or more centaur down on you.

I've done every mission in the game up to Ring of Fire with only henchmen, but that doesn't mean that's the best way to do it.
But if you are going to continue to solo, you should be able to beat Frost Gate. I don't mean this as a slam, but there are much harder things in your future.
Part of what makes this game so much fun is that as the missions progress, you need to vary your tactics and use new skills. Try something different if you are having trouble. Throw in a few smiting skills. Go with more healing. Switch weapons. (I think it was around Frost Gate where I went from sword to axe with my warrior. I much prefer it...) Mix it up.

???
Henchmen never stop being useful in pve. With the exception of Thirsty River and Thunderhead Keep I used henchmen through the whole game. Including the Ring of Fire.

i have a minion master, and after you get blood of the master it is easy doing every mission with henchies. The only mission i have found impossible with henchies is the one you do with the thorn pedastal.
**spoiler**
You pretty much need a team to have one person drop a crystal and the rest to distract. Past that I have done every mission and almost all quests with henchies.

Naaahhh....you can do Aurora Glade (I assume that's the one you're referring to) with henchies - I've done so....twice.
If you just keep running to the pedestals effectively (and I used no move buffs) you can effectively beat the white mantle at the crystals game.

Maybe I should savwe the closet one for last.
