I've already defeated the mirror myself, but I'm just wondering what the easiest way to kill it is with an elementalist. The only way I was able to possibly beat it was to take out spells like Meteor Shower, Meteor(100% chance to strike, knocks down) and I put in maelstrom too, because the mirror will cast it, you move, cast it yourself and he can't attack except with a weak axe. Also, I added in Aura of Restoration, because the arrow attack at the start did around 100 damage(Elementalists have weak defense)

Just wondering if there's an easier way to take him down.

Personally I like to do Meteor Shower, then Meteor, run up to him and do Phoenix. Watch out he might cast Meteor Shower first, if he does, just move, then follow steps. If he's still alive, do a fireball.

This is going to sound odd, but bear with me..it worked.

Take: "Blinding flash" "Ward against Melee" "Fire Storm" "obsidian flame" and nothing else. (Blank skillbar slots)

As soon as the fight begins, he usually opens it with a fire storm..at this point you should blind him then charge into melee distance, out of the AoE.

Then put up your melee ward, start a firestorm, continue to blind him and then pummel him with obsidian flame.

He will not be able to hit you with his sword (Which he seemed to use, instead of skills), will be torn apart by the fire storm and eventually fall to the armour piercing obsidian flames.

Take Flare and Firestorm only. Cast Firestorm and move when he casts his. Spam flare and he is dead. Took about 15-20 secs.

Zenos, i highly doubt that'll work. Why? After he casts firestorm, he'll flare you for 100 each. I highly doubt you beat it with this technique unless your flare somehow did more than 100 to him. all you do is take firestorm/meteor/incendary bonds and make sure he runs out of mana, then run up phoenix and etc. Just dodge his aoe and make sure he doesn't dodge yours. Flare is a NONO, he'll do about 100 dmg average and he'll use it constantly.

I didn't take flare..I used obsidian flame instead, and I don't even recall him using it once for the entire battle..

(It was most likely over too quick.

Well, for my fire ele i took flare, fireball, meteor, aura of restoration. he ALWAYS uses aura first, and all i did was cast meteor first, then fireball, then spamm flare, couldnt have taken more than 10 seconds and he was toast, didn't have to worry about taking damage. Took me 3 trys, this one worked the first time i tried it. Hope it helps

i think it is fun to bring lots of enchantments... earth attunement, fire attunement, water attunement, air attunement (he usually casts near all on himself) i cast meteor shower right away, then spam flare and u can often times dodge his flares.

I thought the mirror image was going to be tough, but I walked all over mine. The skills I had with me are
1. Flare
2. Fireball
3. Phoenix
4. Meteor
5. Fire Storm
6. Meteor Shower
7. Signet of Capture
8. Ressurection Signet
This is the order I went: 6,5,4,2,3,1 He may have died before I got to flare but I don't really remember. I do know it was over extremlly fast though.

Easiest and quickest way, will take about 10-15 sec.

1.Aura of Restoration right before cutscene, skip cutscene
2.Meteor Shower (he is now knocked down)
3.Spam Flare until he is dead

Voila!!

yay thanks to Mordread i just beat my mirror, i tried some of the stuff you other guys said and i couldnt do it...but this worked really good and fast, thank you ^_^

only skills i had were meteor shower and firestorm. i killed my mirror without even breaking a sweat and got the bonus as well.

As E/Me I took:
1 Physical Resistance (lowers his Elemental armor hehe)
2 Water Attune
3 Earth Attune
4 Air Attune
5 Meteor Shower
6 Fire Storm
7 Fireball
8 Fire Attune

He opened up with 1..2..3..4..dead
I cast 8,5,6,7
I never took damage.
