Now that I've seen the movie, I can firmly assure you all that uw solo-farming is still better. :P

PS: Made 60k+ in 2 days of mild farming (mostly by getting ecto) and got my monk a second set of armor (15k ^_^ ) for PvP.

For me gladiators defense and zealots fire build does the job quite well and finishes of all the trolls pretty quick, except the bosses...they take too long and I just skip the ranger boss, guess thats where monk skills come in handy but guess i'm too lazy to re-arrange stats. Although this is a good reachable spot, drops aren't really and gold really aren't all that great, think i got a gold wand or two which is was okay but rare (purple / gold) come by really rarely. Guess its nerfed badly but its easy gold I guess.

Man, this is great, all skills are perfectly adapted EXCEPT balthazar's aura, you never used it in the video, and u could give some points to Axe mastery too, no?

I am just wondering, why "normal" farming is considered "cool" all of a sudden, while uw soloing is not? I mean, uw soloing is relatively harder and certainly less common as well as much more profitable, yet it has attracted so many negative remarks on these forums...

UW soloing / farming is kinda stupid since :
1) entrence fee is 1 plat
2) ur class must be Monk, other classes have no chance for UW-solo
other than that it can be ok.....

ok i have 2 accts, one has this warrior, and the other im making a warrior, now if i put them in the same party (W/N level 5) would that w/n gain exp for sitting just outta town while the w/mo killed everything?

I have a build that is like this one sorta except you can use a hammer sword or axe and you can take on much more than just griffons or trolls in massive numbers...My IGN is my user name if youd like to see it tonight =D (That build is quite ingenius though i might add that with the axe)

awesome buld but i just cant seem to get it. I start attacking and, my health goes up after each cyclone axe, but i usually end up losing like 20 health every attack (after i hit cylone axe when my health goes up its roughly 20 points lower than it was before), so by the time i get all the trolls to about 50% health i usually end up dead. The only thing i think i might be doing wrong is not using balth aura, but u didnt do it either in the video.

lol, ok clearly thats coming from someone who has never even been to UW, atleast not a lot, first of all, fee of 1 plat is nothing, you earn it very quickly in UW, 4-5 mins and you get it back just trhough gold drops, second, UW CAN be soloed by other classes, example elementalist, using ether renewal (forgot exact name of it) and i have a friend whos a warrior and takes on 2 aatxes, however i dont know what he does with the graspings, smites, etc. UW is probably the highest yeilding farming spot that the public knows about, cause ofcourse im sure someone found a much quicker, and better way to make a lot of money (me) LOL, oh and btw, you should use that build farming griffs, it gives more rare item drops, and probably more money, not as much as before since they nerfed... ever since then i switched to running people as well

also little tip on the build, take out the balths spirit as someone ^^ mentioned, replace for another smite skill, or healing breeze if you take on griffs

no a tip on the technique, after casting cyclone, then quickly casting bonettis, you must use your next skill after 3/4s of cyclone is done, (cyclone has recharge time of 4 seconds, the rest of the skills take 1 second to do) ive found it works best with just a bit after 3/4 even because apparently theres sometime wasted when it finishes that isnt calculated... must be very minimal thats why. this is the MAJOR problem i had, and didnt realize till much later back in my early days of farming griffs, also dont forget, try to stay away from scorpions as they do and WILL interrupt your skills, and you will surely die, also make sure you wait a bit after casting vigorous spirit, you MUST get bonettis charged up fully for this to work well, and you might want to be also attacking a griff while doing this

a tip on equipment to use, use glad chest peice, and leggings, w/e you want for hands and feet, and ascalon or knights helm, i prefer ascalon since it gives +1 to tactics for bonettis

and finaly for attribute allocation, you need 8 in healing, no more this is the point where mending has +3 regeneration which you absolutely need, a few in tactics, i prefer just enough for shield, and the rest mainly in smiting, *HOWEVER* there have been people who have reported saying that they put in axes mroe than in smites and managed to kill much quicker, i havent tried this out, i just evened them out and works for me, 3 mins each run 400-600 in gold, 200-300 in items plus w/e purple/rare items i get!

oh, one last thing, best shield is crimson carapace shield, the one from amnoon oasis somewhere there i believe, +45 hp while enchanted -2 dmg while enchanted

And why do not use Divine Boon instead Balthazar's Aura to trigger Zealot's Fire?

I dont know anything about Warriors, so if I'm losing something please be fair

. But as you are wasting a skill slot, Boon will speed those killings, will heal you and its only 5 energy, 1 sec recharge.

Actualy thats a new peice of knowledge for me there, however boon is a divine favor skill, and divine favor skills are primary attributes for monks... we are talking about warriors as primary professions, so wouldnt work unfortunately

Hmm I'm a E/Mo and can use Divine Favor Skills. Moreover, my build is based on spamming Divine Boon...

Don't have Divine Favor as an attribute, so I can't boost its stats, but I can use the skills.

I'm pretty sure same happens with Wa/MO (why should it be different?)

I do something similar with a w/mo farming build.

Attributes are:

Healing 10
Smiting 12
Strength 1
Axe 9
Tactics 7 (coz of the nice +43 health -2 dmg shield I have)

Skills are:

Cyclone Axe
Bonetti's
Vig Spirit
Symbol of Wrath <- can sub Balth Aura in here if you want
Zealots
Healing Breeze
Sprint
Live Vicariously

I use sprint as I need to run past a couple of mobs to reach the area I farm but it can also be used to fire Zealots.

So, first cast Live Vicariously, then as you approach the first mob, cast Zealots, then as I engage, cast Vig Spirit and hit cyclone axe. This gives me instantly +20 health per foe and usually this is about 10 - 15 foes in one go so that's 200+ health per swing. In addition, casting vig spirit fire zealot for upwards of 22+ damage per foe.

As soon as the cyclone is finished, Bonetti's is ready so I cast this, firing Zealots again. Soon as energy bar is full (after about about 1 second lol) I fire SoW and cyclone again.

Basically, just keep alternating between cyclone and bonetti with other skills inbetween, even if you don't need em (healing breeze, sprint etc) just to fire Zealots and the occassional SoW.

I timed a run this morning and in just over 30 seconds (one cycle of Vig Spirit) I killed 17 lvl 24 foes

Edit:

This was a build I posted on another forum - I've since subs Balth Aura in for SoW and it's ace - I killed a mob of griffins in around 20 seconds!! For some reason, if you cast Balth Aura just as Bonnetti starts to time out, you use the 25 energy for BA, but Bonetti still seems to be active so the energy bar goes up fast so you can cast sprint etc again to fire Zealots. Doesn't happen every time, but more often than not.

BTW - uses 1.5k glads armor with Sup Vig and Abs, minor strength and major axe (if memory serves me right - typing this at work

)
