First off ... warriors have there place, eating the pain that others cannot handle.
Secondly, OP did you say your looking for an Elementalist who has less than 8 fire AND less than 8 lightning (this doesn't rule out earth or water) because it confused me. At first I was under the impression that you wanted an Elementalist with no elementalist skills. Are you looking for an E/Mo Protector ... an Earth Warder? or E/R using all in storage and ranger skills heh ... throw me a bone. Why not just say An Elementalist (no fire or lightning eles please) ... Or should apply with our uber eles with 6 in each attribute across the board?

I can tell you my main is a W/Mo with several skills in all the other professions. I can also tell you I have made enough three man trips into the UW to insist your comment is completely off base.
A more correct phrase would be:
I would not suggest playing with other people. The majority of Guild Wars players, especially on the PvE side are morons.
The real difference between a dumb W/Mo and a dumb Me/N, or Ele/Me, is that a bad warrior will show everyone how stupid they are by aggroing everything after a battle, before everyone even gets a chance to fill back up on health. Hell, a good Mes goes completely unnoticed, and a good Ele just hits firestorm, but a good warrior requires more battle field knowledge than the majority of people can comprehend, even most monks.
Still, people that play classes other than warrior primary as thier main, will claim that warriors are dumb. All the while, a couple of questions can easily weed out the Leeroys (who I agree are more destructive than a bad ele or mes).
But hey? what do I know?

Im one of the few actualy using Flint's Wand. (Me/Es using only maelstorm don't count! You just wish Chaos Storm was that good. ). Gogo Hydromancers.
I'd pick anything but an air ele, over a fire ele when forming a group. Geomancer, Hydromancer, E/Mo smiter, are far more useful in my eyes than a straight fire ele.

Tactics and swordsmanship you say? I must be dreaming!
I'll either be on as Racthoh Demini or Dartakc of Kyi (message me I would LOVE to go).
If you're going in with 3 stances into SF, you will not be as effective as in other areas. The large majority of damage in that place comes from degeneration. Conjure Phantasm, Bleeding, Well of Suffering, Poison, and Crippling Anguish are your foes within. None of which a stance can protect against. I certainly hope that the 7th and 8th spot are filled with a monk with Martyr, and someone who can remove hexes like there is no tomorrow. That or Lina and Mhenlo.
The only good stances will do a lot of good against are the furnace guardians, but you fight them only 3 at a time (with as far as I've explored that is). The axe-wielding dredge should be doing 0 anyway with their normal attacks on your warrior(s), the stone summit knights (as long you'll let me pull and aggro properly) are pushovers, and the bow armed of the two have Savage Shot (doesn't apply to me, hurrah).
Oddly enough, the only time I've found I run into danger is against Wardens and Ice Golems. Why? RUST. That spell that everyone hates. A six second healing signet makes me very angry.
I believe I've been going in with 11 strength, 15 sword, and 12 tactics on my W/mo. I can drop some points in strength and sword and switch to W/N for Blood is Power (because that spell is always useful). I was going in with 13 sword but wanted to see if I could handle it with two superior runes on me.

wait, i don't get it. do you want to know the actual build or are you looking for people with the builds?
also, as previously mentioned, stances won't help much in the furnace since most of the major damage is stacked degen. i've taken a few trips with my war/mes, and the hex removals and hex breaker stance work wonders. the shout "i will survive" from the strength line is also pretty good there.
maybe you're looking for the warrior to tank, but stances won't do much when you have 3 hexes, poison, and a well of suffering on you.

well, stances DO help a LOT in the furnace if you go visit the dredge. Tanking the entire staircase on Orozar at once, anyone? And as for the well of suffering, get out of it. There is a reason its cheap and gives that much degen, it can't move. And AMEN to smite hexes. Thats very useful. Once again a great use for a mesmer is Shatter Hex, does 130dmg or so in a HUGE area with max Dom.
