Drago Stoneherder - farming for green bow!
I'm trying to get the bow from Drago Stoneherder. I've seen a link in a previous thread that shows his location, but how do I really get to him. I've been farming the bosses that spawn in Grenths, but now I want to try the other bosses. Do I have to take a particular quest in the furnace to get to Drago Stoneherder, or can I just kill everything in the furnace without taking a quest and still get to him? I've used the search and read thru many posts with no luck finding this information. Your help would be greatly appreciated!

You can enter the Furnace and happily cruise around killing everyting in sight. Hint, hint ... the longbow is your friend ...

I found him yesterday when I went down one of the paths I hadnt completely been down. I havent been in a clearing group and havent been all the way through yet, but I know I can find him again. If I see him, I'll take note and post directions for you back here for you if someone hasnt already. I have a nice map in the makings too when I get around to finishing the work in Photoshop instead of playing. ^^
I'm wondering the same for Malinon. Havent seen him yet.

There are specific boss spawn locations, but the placement of the bosses is random. So when you find a boss in one area one time, he probably won't be there the next. Just go in SF without taking a quest, and the Stoneherder should be around somewhere. Most boss areas are fairly easy to get to, with the exception of that one area in the jungle with all the res sigging Dredge. If you need help, when I'm on I'm usually roaming around SF looking for my Razorstone. Yes, my Razorstone.

*hint hint* flatbow is just as good... pulling always helps, unfortunatly unless you get a good team together by the time your arrow gets to the target your friendly WaMo will already be right in the middle of 20 dwarves -_-'. This did happen.. luckily... we left him to die Later killed all the mobs and resed him... bet he felt like an idiot.
As for the boss, ya just go in and kill everything, though it will truly take some time to actually get him to drop it. I don't know why, but I have the feeling that the bosses inside SF drop their greens less and are also harder to find. So in the end its not green that matters its the name!

Grrrrrrr, the Dredge ... and if they don't fight, they reproduce ... the developers sure wanted to make sure we don't run out of them anytime soon

So, If i dont talk to any of the dwarfs outside in Grenths footprint before going into Sorrows Furnace and if i dont take any quests I can still get thru the main opening when you enter Sorrows Furnace and bosses will spawn with random groups? I'm confused about that, because I've killed mobs in Sorrows without ever seeing a boss spawn. Maybe I didnt go deep enough to find them, or there is a certain senario that makes the bosses spawn.

If you go into SF without taking any quest people, all the bosses spawn in one area or another, I think (I can't count past 10...) Bosses spawn in specific locations, namely: near the High Priest Orozar quest area, the area with Tharn Stonerift (who also gives you a quest to kill 6 bosses, an easy 6k exp), the smasher area (once I saw Handsmasher get smashed...no drops), the "cold" furnace area, the "fiery" furnace area (for lack of better names for them), and the deep jungle area (which with the ressing Dredge isn't worth it). There are probably a couple other areas I'm missing, I usually go on a couple of loops to take the easy ones, so I don't tend to think of what areas the bosses are in.

I guess i was lucky,..i got the vamperic flatbow first try. getting rid of it for a reasonable price will be more difficult though:-)
Drago was in the same place twice for me. enter SF go left at the first intersection and right at the second. he was standing to the left of the third. maybe youll find him there too.

If Drago follows the pattern of all other bosses dropping "green" (unique) weapons, then he should have THREE bows. I've been googling all over the web, browsed forums and auction websites, but I can only find TWO bows from Drago Stoneherder.
This is the very last item missing on the GuildWiki List. Stoneherder experts, HELP us to complete it!

Both his bows are highly sought. I have been lucky enough to find two of his sundering Flatbows, which I sold for 50k+ each.
If he drops a third bow, I haven't heard of it. It would be extremely rare and expensive if there is one.

Malinon/Willcrusher/Rago/Greygore/Bonesmelter spawn in the Orozar quest, I've also found Rago/Willcrusher/Ivor Helmhewer spawn on Final Assault.

Drago's unknown bow is 1 of only 4 green items i have yet to collect. Im begining to think he only has 2 bows.
I have never come across anyone that has seen it.

Drago is my evil twin brother and has stolen my birthright. ever since i have been on a personal quest to reclaim what is rightfully mine.
that being said, i believe that he has a 10/10 sundering bow and a 5/1 vamp bow. i know the 10/10 exists but i have yet to c the vamp bow or any other drago bow. Thorgar (or how ever you spell it) has a very nice bow drp as well
+15%w/ enchant 10/10 with a 20%enchant grip.

i got lucky and got this one for my ranger when i did the Orozar quest. I also saw Rago drop his flame staff when i did Orozar again but it was for someone else. As for my ranger she has this bow now and Thornbeard's Horned Bow. Keep doing Orozar quest and u may get lucky.

Either the devs screwed up when programming it in or there is no third bow. Someone who claimed to be an alpha tester said Drago had a recurve bow too, but he couldn't distinguish between a ranger boss and a warrior boss, so I'm not inclined to believe him.
EMRC, is that right? I keep forgetting Gargash when I'm trying to mark off all the bosses during Orozar. I guess I forget about Boulderbeard when Drago is around.
