Bug? Double Well of Suffering from Dark Binders?
Has anyone else seen a Dark Binder open TWO Wells of Suffering at the same time?
I have been seeing some suspicious behavior from the SF necros, but I wasn't sure it I really saw it until last night.
I played with a good PUG with no other necros at all. We came to a Dark Binder, shortly after the ice smashers. Killed his two comrades and the Binder was the last enemy left, I went to open a Well of Power on one of the two corpses and before I could get it off, he opened two Wells of Suffering (apparently) at the same time.
Teammates walked into it, because the saw me casting and then a well appeared, but they were both WoS!
Can anyone else confirm this?
This is also a good time to ask for color coded wells. Green=friendly, Red=enemy.

Oh you have seen nothing yet. Do the Noble Intentions Quest (from Orozar Highstone) and you will learn what spamming Wells of Suffering means! ;D I think 10-20 at the same time is not an overstatement. That is, if you leave all the corpses to those Dark Binders...
Edit: Should actually read the posts before answering...
Well I haven't seen them opening two Wells 'synchronously'. But when there is a Binder somewhere close by but not involved in the fight they will sometimes actually come close, cast that Well and retreat again.

Yes, I have seen them do that as well. Same for nearby (but not aggro'd) Priests of Sorrows -- zip over for a quick little fit of resing and then scurry off back to their group.
Never seen one Binder cast two simultaneous Wells though. Hope I never do, either!

I am completely sure there was only one binder nearby.

Yeah, I've seen some pretty screwy things come from enemy necros no matter what area. For example. killing a mob with siege ice golem, dolyak master, gnasher, ranger and 2 carvers. I kill the siege ice golem, because he leaves no body. then i move to the dolyak master so he won't heal anyone. As the dolyak masters body is FALLING the gnasher is summoning a minion. It's not a big bug, but damn annoying when i was going to make a well of blood out of it
And in SF i kill binders first cuz of their wells -_- I hate those wells so good

Well I haven't witnessed this double Well of Suffering bug myself, and I run a minion necro. I have my eyes on every corpse on the ground and every necro enemy in the area.
The dark binders cast bone fiends at the same speed you cast well of blood. well of power is slightly slower than well of blood so bone fiends would have a higher priority, unless you continuosly jam on well of power.

I haven't seen this, but Gardock Stonesoul (that's one of the monk bosses names in the furnace, right?) apparently has two copies of Orison of Healing. I disrupted one and he used it again seconds later (I proceeded to disrupt that one as well, then he stopped). -.-

Interrupt their summoning of minions and casting of wells.
The best solution though is to kill the gnashers/binders first IMO.

Could it be that these casters have secondary skills like Echo?
I have seen way too may wells of suffering to come from one binder. I have also seen more wells than killed enemies in some areas. Can multiple binders cast wells on the same corpse?

I'm a Blood Necro, and I have my eyes on those corpses too
I know WoP is slower than WoS/WoB but there were TWO corpses and only one Binder. WoP isn't that slow, I should have gotten one of the corpses.
FYI: I am also wearing Bloodstained Boots, although I don't think they help.

Yep, I've seen that too!! Wells coming from nowhere. Actually, they seem to still require a corpse, but the Well itself spawns away from the corpse. Look for it.

abt the immediate raising of minions. I did that before.
I was casting it on a corpse when some1 else beat me to using it.
i was feeling downcasted there. However, i got lucky^^ something else got killed juz before i completed the spell & i got his body to raise straight after he falls dead.
hopefully that's the case...
or I be the one of the 1st to create a dwarf char if they ever open up races to players-___-

I presume the priests of sorrow has echo too? Try disrupting a resurrect, he will resume casting again IMMEDIATELY after that. Whatever happened to a skill being disabled for an extra 20s after a distracting blow?

I went in with a necro build and now I can beat the binders by casting a shorter corpse spell like putrid explosion before they can finish their well of suffering.
I have seen the back to back orizon of healing also...even after a disruption. Restore life and resurrect, however, have no recharge time, so they can be immediately re-cast.

I used a FC mesmer curses/body stealing build the other night and found that I could steal maybe the first well, but generally not the second well.
Many enemies have multiple copies of skills available to them. Watch the dredge sometime and you'll see them using two res signets.

I don't think so, because I've never seen Echo appear in any mob's cast window (and it should, since it has a 1-sec casting time). Even if it has 0 cast time, we should still be seing it in the stance/shout window.
The only explanation that seems consistent with all the data is that mobs have multiple (presumably two) copies of skills in Grenth's Footprint and Sorrow's Furnace.
Monks: multiple Orison of Healing, Resurrect
Dark Binders: multiple Well of Suffering
Dredge Spirit Guards: multiple Resurrection Signet
etc.
Luckily the warrior/ranger bosses don't seem to have multiple Healing Signet / Troll Unguent.

Shh... no one throw out the possibilty that rangers with punishing/interrupts can help groups substantially in sorrows by stopping wells/monks.
...I've said too much!
