... unfortunately it had nothing to do with my innate l33tness.

After repeated attempts (and last night, I was sooo close, but died just as the "Board the ship" message appeared, aargh!), I was on my 4th or 5th try today. Got to the dock, had 8% morale boost, no one had a DP. Went to the left and took out the 1st group of two, ran around to the right to meet the next group but ... there wasn't one.

I could see the red dots in the radar but they weren't moving. Ran back to the left, same thing. So, I stood near the dock watching the radar.

At first, I thought it was a network interruption but, no, I could move and the Vizier was doing his little dance on the dock. Eventually, the ship came up and we strolled casually on board.

Wouldn't mind seeing that happen in Thunderhead.

yes theres a glitch where if you stand in a specific spot the bad guys wont come to attack you.

I tried it last week, but failed due to a weird bug. I ran from Temple of Ages to Sanctum with a full 8 men hench party. When I entered the mission I kept my complete party, telling it was 8/6. Getting to the Visor was easy. So I followed the visor as fast as I could, when I realized that my party did not follow me. I got killed by the first group of white mantles, and when I switched screen to my henchies I saw them running between 2 points, trapped in a loop, unable to run just a little farther and get around a corner...

You know, i've done the same thing, but the henchmen dissapear down to six, the max party. Sometimes more dissapear for whatever reason. Henchmen also become lower level if you run from a place with higher level henchmen.

What's wrong with doing Sanctum Cay with henchies? Why is it so hard?
I did it with henchies...

Haha, that happened to me also with my first char who BTW is still stuck there in Sanctum; that's when I created my 2nd char (W/Mo), who's currently stuck in Thunderhead, so I've been playing this current char (just finished the Ascencion quests with him). I use that 1st char just for extra storage now.

i do ALL my missions before the desert (exept aurora glade) with henchmen
i even do THK with hench
