I also got suckered into taking Vizier's advice and going through the back. After about 4 tries, I actually made it to the gates (through the imps and lava pits) with Henchies only but got wiped by the bosses. I'm now reading that taking the front gates is the much easier (and thankfully much shorter)....I'll try it tonight for hopefully the last time.

Use the main gate, but you must be patient and pull 1 or 2 baddies at a time. I'm not bragging when I say it took me hours for each mission with henchies because I took my time and made sure everyone had time to fully heal and recharge prior to each fight.

GO SLOWLY AND PULL THE SMALLEST GROUPS POSSIBLE.

I did it with my ele prior to the "patches" with full henchie parties, and trust me, if I can do it, any one can. I changed her secondary to ranger just so I could use Winter and Serpent's Quickness. Winter rules in those levels.

I swear it's always the warriors fault...swear to god it is. For example, we're at the ring of fire, we're almost done, then the warrior just so happens aggros all the damn mursaat, and we get raped end of story. Though what pissed me off the most was when i was doing the last mission of the. So we're at the last part with the lich and all, and we're doing find until someone dies, then another, then another, and another, until finally it's the two people who don't die that try to double team the lich. Well that made me just laugh.

i did mount and ring of fire with hencies, and almost hell with a ranger with winter and hencies, cept ranger left after he got his cap
