I haven't sucefully gotten a build that I can use soloing in Shivapeaks yet, but I would say if u had a good build for soloing south Shiva, u might try the Thunderhead keep mission. usually at least 2-3 chests on it, and I usually see an average of 4 rares drop on it.

And well perdition rock, just outside Ember light camp, was allways good to me. That is untill they changed it so those damn mesmers are in there. This completely nerfed my Rangers solo build in this area.

I think you mean clear a large portion of fow and uw with the invinicie-necro.

Also try farming fog nightmares outside ToA's in the area the "gunk" farmer was located for the xmas event. They drop good....until the blasted anti-farm kicks in.

What about Giants north of Droknar Forge....they mostly drop hammers though but drops weren't that bad last time I farmed.
