Must have superior. If you don't get your health down to at least 109 then you will have a hell of a time surviving. I suppose you could do it with 3 superior and 2 major runes, to get down to 155hp, and then used the -50 Health offhand item to get to 105. But I am here to tell you, you cannot take on more than 2-3 enemies with 105 health. You really need to use 5 superior AND the -50 Health item to get 55 HP.

Suggestion: Stand at the rune trader. Keep clicking him to open the list. Scroll to the bottom quickly to see if a sup monk rune is available. If not, hit ESC and quickly repeat the process. If one is available, then VERY QUICKLY hit request quote and if you are extremely lucky, you will get to buy it at a pretty good price. It helps if you make the Rune Trader window go from top of the screen to the bottom so you can scroll quicker.

I did this for about 45 minutes straight and was able to buy all my runes. It just takes patience.

If you have this build, you better go out this weekend and farm like your life depended on it! If you don't have it, I'd hold off on paying high prices for those monk superior runes until the dust settles...

Me? I just ascended my monk 2 nights ago and respecced last night so I plan on getting while the getting is good!

I'm mad. I can't make my build quick enough to get a pig pay load... unless I uber grind...

I don't have money to pay my way to maguuma... then i have to do missions to ascend... then I have to buy the superior runes... I'm so screwed.

Does anyone know of a quest or collector reward in Post-Searing with - Health that is ***NOT*** the -50 Health necro item?

I'm looking for:

-A quest or collector item with negative Health of about -30, offhand only.
-It must be from Post-Searing, as I have the one from Presear with -20 HP.
-It must NOT be the -50 Health Cities of Ascalon quest reward, which I also have.
-It must not be a dropped item.

I'm having a bit of fun tinkering with my InvinciMonk before they nerf him and I would like to put him at about 85 HP.

I'd also be interested in a post-searing quest or collector reward for the primary hand with -Health, if anyone has that information.

I never ran the 105 build. I always ran at 380 health and it worked fine for me with the build I was using. The must's are the Superior protection and +1 protection icon. I don't think it's as efficient as the 105 build still very doable without all superiors.

I went with a guy once that had 80 health. I have no clue how he reached it. (he was lvl20)

I got 49 energy on my monk by using ascetics armor +8 chest, +4 legs, +2 hands, +1 feet for a total of 17. I also use a +12 energy second hand item. This setup gives you an additional 29 energy for a grand total of 49.

I heard rumours about a new Me/Mo or Mo/Me build with Offering of Blood as a key skill. Its supposed to be used for soloing both UW and FoW. Any clues?

Offering of Blood is necro, and an elite, and I really don't think its recharge time would make it much more useful than other methods of gaining energy during farming, unless you used it with Arcane Echo, or something, but then you would be monk primary or secondary, and would probably have a lot of trouble staying alive.

just wondering what armor is most useful because i only have 5 sup runes and dont want to waste it on the wrong armor. and also is there still good drops?

This build does not work..... I kill the 1st two ataxes, and when i try to fight the 2nd group, at some point my healing breeze stops responding.... I have enough energy... I cast healing breeze over and over about 3 times.. but it just goes dead... Obviously the bleeding catches up with me, and i die. same thing every time. Some ppl here say they use boon. When i use it my energy runs out faster that I can say "BOON" !!!
And yes.. I know how to manage my energy and I'm not a noob. I'm a monk/warrior and I dont have elementalist's "ether renewal" to help me with my energy.

I don't know what the previous poster is talking about, it's worked GREAT for me...over 70k in 2 days, I am happy as hell. BTW i use the original build posted on here except i tweaked some stats and use boon instead of healing breeze.

If you don't like the original build try my V3 build in this thread, I think around post 275. It should be much easier to stay alive.

are you using bonetti's before you cast healing breeze? its possible you've just got bad luck and keep getting interrupted while you are trying to cast. if you are using SoJ and bonetti's in your build, you have that extra cast time because of the chance for enemies to miss or get knocked down.

Can someone point out to me on an image or something were the collector protective icon is? I only see one collector north of lions arch and it doesnt have it :S

I made 25k today by buying x2 runes from the vendor and selling them. But after the first couple times it seems the rune vendor hates me... as I never seem to get anything but the "vendor is out of...." message. I hate the rune trader system in GW -_-

I have x2 extra icons (the collector one) if anyone wants em... I'll sell em for 200g.
