^^^^ You would be very wrong, Primary can not be changed, Secondary you can change via quests once 20.

you can not change your second. when you talk to tydus aid, he tells you that once you choose a second profession, it is peremenant. when you talk to the trainers, and they ask you if you are sure you want to have that second profession, because it is permenant.

if you do quest for trainers, you can get their skills, but you dont really have a second profession. You can go get all skills at one time or another, but not at the same time, choose one and you drop another. But if by your name, in your party, it just has one capital letter, no slash, then you are still only one profession, and there for can change skills between professions, until you choose one, then you get alot more skills from that one profession, but you cant change it anymore.

pre searing and post searing are drastically different.
In pre you can play around with all the secondaries until you commit to one.
You can then not change your secondary until lvl 20 via a quest.
But it can be changed.

Ok people, let me tell you how it works.
#1 : Yes you can change my subjob.
-----------------------------------
There are a # of quests in [Heroes' Audience].
For say, the NPC I went to, to change my subjob from Monk, to Elementalist
goto Heroe's Audience and find a NPC named, [Cembrien].
The Quest is called "The Elementalist Path" and you must kill a Minotaur, and bring the hide back to [Cembrien] You get 1000K EXP, and have the option to change your subjob from whatever it is now, to Ele. There are a # of these quests all around the area for changing your sub job. When changing your subjob you obvously loose all the other subjob skills, but the NPC says "until you change it back" so probably if you go back to your orignal subjob quest npc, you can get your skills back. When you change the subjob you do not gain any skills either, you must go purchase them.
Kthnx have a nice day.

Summary
*Each subclass change quest is called "The ------ Path".
*Each of the three outlying desert towns has 2 quest givers. Obviously each for a different class.
*You can complete each quest for 1000xp without actually taking the new subclass.
*The next person I see on this post say it isn't possible I'm going to noobsmack back into beta.
*Game on

Okay guys. If you have NOT been to Crystal Desert, talked to Vanyi in Droknars Forge, you would not know.
But the answer is, AND SHOULD BE FINAL that your 2nd profession is NOT permanent. And yes, you can change as much as you like.

Can any of you give a detailed list of the trainers/quests that change your second proffession?
I have an Mo/R I want to change to Mo/E but cannot find him in the desert. Is it the Elementalist path quest?

I cannot remember the exact place, but to be able to unlock all the quests for different proffessions, these are the three towns these quests are in:
Seeker's Passage
Destiny's Gorge
Hero's Audience.
To be able to GET the quest to find out where each area is, you must talk to Vanyi in Droknar's forge by the Xulani Storage, and get the quest "A Hero's Journey" or something like that.

Remember that changing your 2nd proffesion then does NOT mean you'll get every skill. You'll have to do quests starting up from Ascalon city, and up.
Oh, and did you notice how many quests that go along the storyline GIVE you skills? Well, remember you can't repeat those quests. So you'll have to deal with buying skills, capturing, and doing small quests.

The new trainer in Ember light camp has ever skill for both your primary and secondary profession.
You can cap elites of your secondary even if it's in the primary attribute. I capped Battle Rage with a Mo/W two days ago from the troll boss in the ice cave north of Droknars.
Make a farmer and you'll have enough skill points (and money) to unlock anything with your new secondary.
