W/Me is an interesting build. As noted IW and ER is helpful against titans. Another tactic is to blackout an enemy caster (while your IW and ER is in effect, of course). But you'll need to toss in a bit of attrib into dom, and that may be spreading your pts too thin (illus, insp, dom, plus your weapon) . . . :/

I forgot to mention previously that the 3 titan bosses plus some titan wandering mobs in the titan source quest are located/standing on muddy terrain. It's an interesting point to note b/c while your movement is hindered, I noticed that the titans seem to move effortlessly. And it becomes problematic for positioning (trying to move out of aggro of the tailing 2 members of a 3 titan wandering patrol). May be a bug (lack of movement penalty for titans in that location)?

Since Illusionary Weapondry ignores the damage you'd normally do with your weapon, you don't really need to put any points into your weapon attribute. I think a good point spread would be similar to IxChel's build, but have Illusion and Inspiration instead of Swordsmanship and Death. The nice thing about Elemental Resistance is you always get +40 armor against elemental damage. More points into Inspiration just makes it last longer.

My Me/El finished Henge of Denravi at -60DP (/w henchies) without much difficulty. However, I had to go back in and reskill so that I was effective at -60DP. Perhaps Titan Source is another mission where you have to take builds that work at a very high death penalty? Also, a trick I learned when soloing outside of Lion's Arch is to take on groups of 2-3, but leave a single titan left by himself so I can come back and finish him off when I'm at high DP (to lower it again)

This warrior build is fairly successful at taking out a group of 3 titans. It doesn't kill them super fast, but you don't have to worry about dying and you can kill them all off in about 2 minutes.
W/Me Anti Titan Tank
Strength 15 (+3 rune, +1 helm)
Tactics 10 (+1 rune)
Illusion Magic 10
Inspiration 4
1) Cyclone Axe (attack all adjacent)
2) "Watch Yourself" (+20 armor for 9 secs)
3) Illusionary Weaponry {E} (29 dmg with each attack for 30 secs)
4) "I Will Survive" (+3 health regen for each condition for 11 secs)
5) Dolyak Signet (+40 armor for 20 secs)
6) Elemental Resistance (+40 armor vs Elemental for 46 secs)
7) Healing Signet (+115 health, -40 armor while using)
8) Res Signet
Platemail Armor
Axe
Jeweled Chalice (+12 energy)
Always keep Dolyak Signet and Elemental Resistance up, which gives you +80 armor against elemental damage. When you are not in a Maelstrom, cast Illusionary Weaponry (IW) and Cyclone Axe as much as you can afford. If possible, avoid using your Healing Signet while IW is up. Use "I Will Survive" to keep your health above danger level. I usually kill one Titan for each casting of IW. Once IW wears off, use Healing Signet to get your health to maximum, then cast IW again and repeat the whole process. Shout "Watch Yourself" as much as you can, as its the only adrenaline skill.
I have not tried this in the actual quest, so I'm not sure how much the -21 armor against physical from Elemental Resistance will affect things.
I just wish there was a way to attack faster w/o losing Elemental Resistance, which is a stance.
