Anyone tried to "chest run" hells precipice??
There is a nice chest that often spawns near the portals with wraiths. This chest drops the highest undead items in the game like dead bows, sephis axes, orrish skin staves, and swamp clubs. I tried to run to this chest but cant quite come up with a good build. Anyone tried this??

I do have a build to chest run hell's precipence with my warrior, but its not even worth it... i did 3 runs in a row, i got 1 purple that should of been blue( bla bow of enchanting, not max, enchants last 14% longer), and 4 purples off hands items.

I would love to try the run with my warrior. I could use some help with the build though. Tried mantra of fire and got pwned.
Any help would be great!!! |

lol missed the blue weapon responce. I am realy starting to think allot of people post false responces to questions to stop others from finding things.

I've done this too, once I found a gold Dead Bow req8 13% in stance, but nothing else of great value

I have been using Kcp's build, and I already made all the money back that I wasted on keys.. I did like 50 runs allready, mostly junk, but suddenly, I found an axe with perfect furious mod - 50k, and a bow with 10/10 sundering - another 20k or so... So I spent like 15-20k on keys already, and can make around 70k right now. Yes it is very annoying, and it's based on luck entirely, but it can be worth it, if you find that gold magma's shield or dead bow...

whoah... not bad.. gotta try that.
And about those who are complaining about the nerf, it would be dumb to nurf this place, sine the chances of a good drop are like 1 in every 50 runs... Plus when factions comes out, all this stuff wont be worth a penny... |

I was surprised, the W/Me running build is actually pretty straightforward. Havn't tried running with a Mo/R, but I imagine that the warrior method is actually easier

Just to let you guys know- from my experience I have found that there are normally 2 chests by the portals. One is purple, one is gold. I have proved myself wrong a couple of times, but this is normally the case for me.
