Since half of Factions' enemies consist of Afflicted, I thought it could be a good idea to bring this subject up and stir up a discussion.
I haven't really found any weaknesses of The Afflicted yet, but they do use fire magic alot - water magic might be a good counter ? any ideas would be good.

yes EoE...

I used that in Vizunah Square, worked the first time around, but wiped out our whole team later on. There weren't anybody else than us and The Afflicted.
Maybe a bug. I don't know, haven't tried since.

Just don't bring EoE if you've got a MM on your team. I get so pissed when I see a Ranger drop that if I'm on my MM.

The only good thing is that with the nerf your MM army can usually survive EoE triggering once because the army is 10 or less.

Aside from EoE which is a no-brainer and missing the point, has anyone noticed a real weakness?

Fire?
Cold?
Earth?
Lightning?

The afflicted warriors take double damage from shadow. I have yet to find out any other weaknesses though.

The reason the warriors take double damage is maybe because they use frenzy.

yeah it's the frenzy, lol shadow dmg...

Think for a second here.
Warriors run up to you.
Rangers run up to you(throw dirt)
assassins run up to you.

They are the main source of the damage, besides the necromancer.
So get some stuff like Phoenix, starburst, silver armor, etc. Things that hit targets adjacent to you. But not stuff like lava font or firestorm, you dont want them to scatter. I dont think they scatter from silver armor, but im not sure.
