I done it second try(first time being beaten by the elementalist group).

We had the level 5 spear charged up... I dropped it on the boss. It took him down to around 3/4 hp. We had a warrior with disrupting chop, that really saved our buts when it came to the boss.

that is easily mission, wat u do is fight the first lot (easy) the give the spear to the monk, dont drop the spear until u get to the boss, that way the spear will charge up and become more powerful, when the spear reaches lvl 5, drop it near the boss and that does tons of dmg, get alot of tanks to fight it then just keep picking up the spear and dropping it near the boss. phew that was alot of typing

I did this mission with a PUG, master lvl completion (or whatever its called - 3 spears) first time. We charged spear up to lvl 5, I use my mesmer interupts on the boss; piece of cake.
