Absolutely Ridiculous!
Ok, I had to post this as I was lmao about it.
Basically as you can see in the picture, a full team of hench against 3 Jade Brotherhood Knights.
1 Knight killed me with 3 hits (I was full health, highest armour) It seems Sister Tai was busy cutting her nails to even notice. The pic was captured just after I died so you can see in the pic that all hench were near to full health.
I want you to post funny moments in Factions that seem RIDICULOUS!
I don't want this to turn into another flame session, so pls just post your funnies...

Jade Brotherhood seem more like L30 than L20 that they are, really tough sobs to kill.
Knights deal "massive" damage with their triple chops alone, so you can't really ignore them and go after the casters who do Channeled Strikes and Dragon Stomps that deal nasty damage as well...
I like Am Fa better, easy to mop the floor with them.

misunderstood
lol i think people have got the wrong impression...
I didn't need help in defeating them or know what kind of damage each one does! The funny side to this was that I was fighting a group of only 3 knights, 1 attacked me and in 3 hits I was dead. All hench health bars were near to full. I was full HP and 13% dp from a similar experience earlier on. What I found ridiculous is that the mobs are WAY overpowered and Sister Tai can't heal shit... in fact all the henchies are good for is minion fodder.
At least they get better in Kurzick and Luxon territory...
My post actually started as a fuming rage. Already im taking my 3rd char through Cantha and the point in the picture pissed me of enough to post, but rather than go on another flaming session I thought I'd start a new idea of posting funny moments such as this one ^{}^
And regarding attacking groups of knights, rits, mages and eles, yes I'm NOT dumb!
LOL

It happens a lot.
There is no protector henchman, so their damage output is insane, and the healer has no clue how to handle spike damage.
Same problem with Naga archers. 3 or 4 will focus on healers one at a time, and usually spike them in one attack.
It gets quite frustrating.

I found them really easy to kill actually. I do ignore the knights and focus on the spellcasters. With barrage, they die really quickly. That's what henchies do when you don't attack btw: focusing on the casters first. I understand that a mage with 2 sup runes may have hard time with tanking the knights, but honestly I never had this problem with the 485/455 health of my ranger...
Remember as well when you go with henchies to give a break to the healer so he can regen... Eve is a nice addition to the team as well as she's addicted to Blood Ritual.

Haha, what also is funny is the mesmer bosses with shatter enchant.
I had the protection henchmen, so its like, take a bit of damage, get a protection spell, shattered, take 200 damage, get another protection spell, shattered again -> death.

My Tyrian ranger has no problems in the city. She arrived with barrage and has an excellent pet. It's a different story for Canthan characters who have just arrived from the mainland. No elites, and still working out how to play their build. After a fairly easy starter island, they step into the first area and run into these jade brotherhood guys. One mob can wipe a party very quickly.
So yeah, Tyrian characters don't have a problem. Bring a level 16-17 Canthan character with no elites and give it a try.

My thoughts exactly!! I would much rather take on the Am's than the Brotherhood. I did get bold thought and in the northeast part of the bazzar there is sort of an island with bridges to it that is swarming with the Brotherhood. Well I need to clear that spot on my map for Tracker Title so I ventured in and, after a few deaths, I managed to clear out all the Brotherhood.
But I am with you OP. Those Knights are serious business. I take them out first cause I can usually cope with the casters damgage.

I hate how the new AI makes healer henchman tank in the front lines and die almost immediatly.

Eyeah. Not much of a problem for a Ranger, I don't have Barrage yet but even so, a Ranger can do a lot of damage if you put the Poison on those arrows and shoot Power Shot till you get the Knight down to less than 50% health, at which time you spam his guts with Needling Shot and watch that sick creep fall over, NS clock winds up in one second, spammer it on! I'm sure its going to get nerfed.

I was doing the quest in the Jade Sea to cut off some Naga necros head and then take it to a Canthan nobleman (can't remember the name). I walked out of the city and up the stairs. The first group of 4 naga killed me in about 4 seconds because they always attack you first, of course. The hench rezzed me right back up into them. I didn't even move, just started casting a heal. Boom--dead again. And got the extra dp because I attempted an action. Me: 30dp, Henchies: 0dp You've gotta laugh at that stuff. So then we got SLAUGHTERED by the necro naga and his posse. Had to run back there from the rez shrine (which seemed like it was about 14 miles away) about 14 times. If it wasn't for the fact that I didn't want to fight the ones I'd already killed, I sooo would have given up and quit the quest for the night.

yeah those Jade Brotherhood guys are mean, esp the knights.......yes, they seem much higher than lvl 20, and yes, the Am Fah are not in the same league.
I pretty much just have to agree with everyone. When you take your new factions character off noob island and have to take them on, it's serioulsy rough going, often involving a trip or two to the rez shrine.
Yes, we need a prot hench. Maybe they should consider making the first *gasp* bonder hench?
