Actually Batou, I beg to differ. You can even get to the Ring of Fire mission itself at L1, as the quest reward xp is collected after the boat trip from Cap'n Grumby. Didn't realise it myself 'til later, but got to ELC and took a screenie, which I'm hoping I've attached right.

This has been concluded before. You can, technically, finish Hell's Precipice and be level 1 when you arrive back in Droknar's afterwards.
1) Do the only tiny quests in Pre-Searing that are necessary
2) Go through the Academy
3) Get run all the way to Thunderhead
4) Die at the start of the Thunderhead mission and don't get resurrected, the other seven in the team complete the mission
5) Go into Perdition Rock from Ember Light Camp, die, the rest of the team kill all enemies on the way to the boatman then come back and resurrect you, you then go to the boatman and go across to Ring of Fire
6) Die at the start of each of the following three missions and the rest of the team complete them.

Ehh, Symeon, it can't be done, even if you're dead during the missions, you get the experience for completing the missions.
Lvl3 is the lowest, because you have about 1800exp in RoF. 3000 more, you're at the bottom end of 3.
150 per presearing (2)
1k for thunderhead
500 > RoF
1k for Rof
1k for Abaddon's
1k for Hell's
4,800 Minimum...
That's the bare minimum, because that counts on you getting absolutely no experience from monster kills.
Unless I've screwed up my math...

Yes you have, its 4,300. 4000 for the 4 missions you must do to complete the game. You don't have to get the quest reward to reach RoF. I'll leave the pre-sear stuff to you lot, haven't paid much attention to them quest rewards.

Ahhhh, you don't have to collect it...
I thought you got the experience when you reach the boatman...
Whatever, thanks for pointing that out.

Any non-mesmer character can get to the Ring of Fire mission at level 1.
(the bull gives too much XP in presearing, mesmers can get to ring of fire at level 2)

Pre-Searing
I hate doing this, I mean it pains me to say this, but EvilSod, you are incorrect.
I did the mesmer quest in pre-searing with a guy who was a mesmer. He stayed near the princess (or whomever she was that gives you the quest in the first place) and I killed the weak bull. All of a sudden, I see the message from the mesmer (I was a ranger/Monk), $&#@!@#!. I asked what's wrong. He said he got XP for the kill. I said, "yeah, so." He didn't want any XP. He wanted to go to Hell's Precipice at level 1. Now he was like 1/2 way to level 2.
EvilSod, I have read many of your postings, and you are very knowledgable when you post things, that's why I hated to say you were mistaken.
I've seen level 3s in the desert, level 5 in Hell's Precipice. I think I've seen a level 3 in THK. I must admit that I haven't seen any one lower than that in those places, but I believe it is possible to be level 1 or 2 in Ember Light Camp.

not to flame or anything ... but honestly, whats the point to doing this ?
ive seen many extremely low levels in places they dont belong. to what end ? what does it accomplish ?
are people so depserate to create some artificail ability in low level arenas that they get as far as they can to cap and get droxs armor just to beat up on people they dont have the skill to beat otherwise ?
im so glad this has been stopped in Cantha/Factions.
thank this kind of BS for the reasons
i dont know the reasons for the OP, but i just cant justify a logical reason why anyone does this ... maybe its me

couple things. the actual math is:
500 xp to confirm your primary (<Profession> Test)
250 xp for doing the quest for a secondary (depends on secondary. "A Mesmer's Burden" for example. which you can have someone else kill the bull and you not get the kill xp. tried and it worked)
250 xp for the quest to confirm you have a secondary and are ready to precede (A Secondary Profession)
100 xp to confirm you're ready to go to postsearing (The Path to Glory)
-----------
1100 xp
all of those quests are REQUIRED to get out of pre-searing. in the past it might have been different (in fact i know it was) but currently it's impossible to get to ember light camp at level one. 2000 xp is lvl2 and you'll get 1k exp for finishing THK whether you are dead or not

Get off the radar, way off the radar.
If you stay at the beginning of the map or go somewhere else and you let other people do stuff, all the experience is for them, all the drops are for them, you get zero.
the mes was too close

Here is a level 1 in Droks back in August 2005.
To get to level 2 is 2k xp.
There was a pic somewhere for a level 1 in Ring of fire but I cannot find it.
To be able to get to these areas, you have to be ran by other people (or if you have 2 accounts and 2 PCs then you can run yourself like I do)
To do Droks to get to Ring of Fire, you do not have to fight, just stand next to the starting area so you wont get xp when mobs die.
Voila you are in RoF.

correct, you don't have to fight and you won't get any XP for kills, but you will get 1k xp for finishing thunderhead keep mission itself. which, any way you cut it, with the current presearing system WILL put you past the 2k mark. with the current system you will be lvl 2 when you get to emberlight camp.
i've tested it with multiple classes and the least xp i can leave presearing with is 1100 xp (again, with the current system as I know it was changed in the past). I have not found a way to bypass any of those 4 key quests (500,250,250,100 xp) and still have the guy let you leave pre.

100k? What the hell? Unless you grossly overpaid or got ran in times when the pricing alot higher then something isn't right there.
Furthest i've gotten is the desert @ lvl 5ish. Though mine wasn't on purpose, rather guildies were doing runs right around the time my necro was born.

In the real world these kind of people are known as losers deadbeats and users. Oh could you guys go kill some bad guys i'm broke i need some gold. This makes that player no better than the beggars on the streets of Ascalon asking for gold for hours at a time. The fact is that number one at the top of his screen is just a way of saying ( I'm an a$$hole and in no way do i deserve to be here can you give me something). It doesn't say a lot for the people that helped him either IDIOTS OR FOOLS take your pick. At best a very shallow accomplishment.

If he gets guildies to help him, it is not bad. As long as he doesn't come here to tell he'd beat the game being lvl 1 or 2, because the game is sooooo easy.
I personally hate it when people join my party at even lower lvl than a hench. Even when they have 60DP, they will still claim to be better players than others.
A lvl 1 with a title, that would be something
