Need help in "Eternal Grove" , And "Unwaking Water" mission master's reward.
If anyone would like to form a team to do these master reward missions, pleasep ost here. In eternal grove, id like to leave 2 monks at the center of the map, and let them watch the bars of the trees to know if any of the singers are getting hit. The rest of the team can easily wipe out the luxon NPC's.
Im a warrior, and trying to find teams to do these master reward parts of the game , espcially in dead missions like eternal grove, is really hard.
So, if your intrested, please post here and maybe we can arrange a time.

these two missions are extremely easy to get masters in...
just get some guildies or friends if you have any...
and it isnt even hard to do with a PUG anyways
(unwaking is masterable with 2 hench groups)

Well, I'll agree that Unwaking is a major PITA to get a group for, and with such a dearth of people, you really have to talk beforehand about who is bringing what skills to do what. But it's not hard to get Master's once you find a competent group. That's really the hard part.
Eternal Grove ? I don't think I've ever NOT gotten Master's on this. Even when the team sucks and people are dying left and right, the tree singers have managed to all survive. Just follow the advice on Guildwiki and go after the warriors and elementalists first, then turtles, then the rangers last. Even if you get the turtles first, which most teams seem to do, you will be fine. Again, communication will help. If you discuss ahead of time and break the team into 2 groups of 4, one for each side, that works well. But you don't even have to do this, as I've been in a group that ran back and forth, died all over the place, and we still got Master's. Don't know what else to tell ya.

All you need is a MM on each gate.

Unwaking Waters is easier with 15 henchies than with the average pug.

The key here to do it quickly is degen. Intense degen on the big old dragon.

In eternal grove, any non wammo warrior can easily tank a gate while an MM uses fiends to take out the targets.
In fact, a warrior with mhenlo on one side will completely block off the gate and should be able to kill everything except for the last wave. But that's why you have 7 other people in the party...
The luxon teams are soloable too. All you need to do is prevent the turtles from getting there while killing the footsoldiers.
The turtles can be killed.. or bodyblocked.
If you have a team in which there are people who know how to play their profession then you can master this easily.
Also, remember, for eternal grove and gyala hatchery, you don't need to be fast. The master/bonus = keeping the singers alive (for gyala, the young turtles).
Unwaking. Get a single ranger with several interrupts. If you can prevent the spores from kicking in then the rest of the party can just kill the flood. If the ranger has degen, even better...
The ranger should NOT be hitting monsters, only the dragon. A mesmer can probably do it too.
But it seems you need to put in 2 consecutive interrupts to stop one spell so a second ranger (from the other team or whatever) might be a good help.

I've only donr the Grove with my Rit (Luxon guild, I'm just getting to Kurzick side) and got Masters spamming shelter/union/displacement by the singers.
Unwaking Waters has been all-or-nothing for me: either Master's or failure (best is 8:18 so far). The key is to hit Kunaavang as hard as possible. Degen, spells, interrupts, everything. If you hit him hard enough, you only have to fight three mobs, so your ground offence can be minimal.
As a safety valve, you can have two people with Shelter, since Dark Chain Lightning can be difficult to interrupt and it does massive damage. I say two people because he can cast it again before the first person's Shelter recharges, even with Ritual Lord.
And remember: Never refuse a gift from someone who could SWALLOW YOU WHOLE!

The secret to an easy victory in Unwaking Waters is to bring a ranger to cap Broadhead Arrow. You can take down Kuunavang (sp?) in under a minute, as she will never be able to use her skills (which are all spells). My pug beat this mission using that strategy in about 9 min.
