This is mainly meant as fun, so please don't take too much offense

I just get fed up with seeing people stating things as fact when in reality, things may be a little more fluid.

Certain things are solid gold truths in PvE:

Full Knight's armour is the best way of spotting a noob.

Rebirth is the best non-combat PvE res, a mesmer fast-casting Resurrection Chant is the best combat PvE res. Res sigs are third, and Rebirth should NEVER be used mid-combat.

If your secondary is not monk, you should still bring res sig if you are grouping with others.

Mending sucks just as much in group PvE as it does in PvP. Mobs just LOVE to strip it. If you're going to take mending, cast it on the monk, not yourself.

Chaos Storm is utterly useless since the AI update.

Mesmers don't have to follow calls. They're at their best when they're spreading the love.

2 monks are NOT a necessity.

If you're pursuing the Cartographer or Skill titles, you WILL spend most of your time with henchies.

Not ALL Wammos suck. Just the majority.

Ritualists can heal too! Monks are NOT the only healers!

Elementalists aren't tanks.

Neither are mesmers.

....Or assasins.

Ok, basically just warriors are tanks.

IW sucks in PVE just as much as it does in PVP

People seem to only want nuking fire eles in their group.

E/Mo Healer LFG! This one makes me laugh on the PvE side.. don't get me wrong either prod HP E/Mo's in PvP can save your butt. I'm talking about the people starting E/Mo's thinking they are monks

Starts to spam I'm using Flame Trap! Segways into My Energy is 0 of 25. you ask how are your atts setup he/she Types OMG WTF Dude 16 Marks 5 Exp 9 WS The rest is in Healing N00b! and the list goes on

Just because you're rank 9 doesn't mean you're an uber PvE player AND on the flip side just cause you have FoW armor doesn't mean you're an uber PvP player

rebirth is fine in mid-battle. IF IF IF IF IF its used propperly (ie NOT by a non-monk main).
ideally the monk should not be ressing in mid-battle unless they are 100% sure they can still keep people up and running, but a monk whose experienced in using rebirth can get it off without a hitch. and if a monk is using it mid-battle, they MUST have a -5 energy weapon switch.

Still not a fan of it cause it brings up the player at 25% in the midst of battle, might as well burn a sig unless it is FoW or an elite mission.

-5 energy set in PvE ftw though...Rebirth is the age old use, but I am always in the pursuit of finding new ones. Countering the power leak of the new computer AI to save an overextended wammo in FoW/Fire Island works (they still haven't changed the AI to use esurge/eburn correctly yet). Also the negative energy set completely counters the edrain from seals in the Fire Islands. Still looking for more uses...

some people like the look of their armor rather then walking around looking like crap[aka, all glads other then boots]
monks don't like to waist energy on a friendly that's only missing a couple pixels of health
not every one needs to be in a guild to play

Works quite nicely, but if you're the only monk I wouldn't risk it (unless you know the other party members know what they're doing). Also, only if you're ressing a warrior, no point in losing a lot of your energy to grab someone who needs to wait in order to do anything effectively.

My eyes have a slight distortion in sensitivity near the red end of the spectrum, that pixel appears orange to me....
