I have been doing Chest runs in Raisu Palace the last few days and getting some good drops. My question is: I have a Warrior/Monk and a Ranger/Monk and I have been using the Warrior/Monk. I was wondering what type of builds people are using for chest runs....my Warrior/Monk one needs tweaked because I don't think I have it optimized to perfection (not lasting too long on the runs). And would the Ranger be better for chest runs anyway???
I am also sure depending on the area....you have to change the build being used. The thread in this section on best places for chest runs has given me some great ideas to do this...now just to see some awesome builds!

but my warrior build is:

shields up
sprint
charge
endure pain
heal sig
heal area
holy veil
purge conditions

works for me im usually one of the last ppl to die, the best way to do this is join a team of chest runners, going alone you take all the damage and die way too fast, but with a team of ppl they obsorb most of it and the team can get to the very end easily, also you can save money on keys since you can take turns opening chests first.

Wary Stance is so much better than Shields Up for me, especially around Debilitating Shot. I also choose Mend Ailment over Purge simply because of the large number of PUG groups with people who like to spread disease. Quicker recharge.

my build is okay imo, considering im usually a person living, death chest or not

vital blessing

i dont mind the -1 energy vital blessing but i can get out alot of situations with it on that i wouldnt if i didn't

i just chested at raisu palace and heres what i got...

10 strength
8 healing
12 tactics

charge
sprint
endure pain
mending
shields up
heal sig
rez sig or rebirth
smight hex

i find this works pretty good because theres no enchant removal RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOs so its always good to have +3 regen and i also find glad armor the bomb for chesting for that +7 energy and when theres favor for what ever you live in

dywans cloak + 10 armor that one +1 health thingy and balts majigger were your warrior atrivutes are raised by 1
