Ive seen that staue, I think it is to close to starter area to be the entrance. I belive Gaile has said Cantha will have its OWN High level areas like UW and FoW. Makes sence since it can be standalone.

I'm pretty sure I heard somewhere, sometime, possibly, that UW, FoW, etc will be shared across the game(s). They do worship the same gods, after all.

In that case, thought, we still need are realms for Melandru, Dwayna, and Lyssa.

That statue gives bonuses if you kneel in front of it. The wraith is what you talk to and you can buy morale up to 10% and the other buffs only last 20 minutes. Thing is by the time you get to one of these statues there's not much left of the zone to need the buffs lol.

It is your standard statue that you can trade money to for services. In this case this statue has the standard two (I forget the names) that give health regen and +2% moral boost/per payment.

It does include some other services that I have not seen before and appear to be profession based. I don't remember the exact wording but it was something along the lines of "For 20 minutes you gain 20% chance of +1 skill increase in {enter attribute type here}".

One thing that did appear different (though I did not test it much) was that it provides the service only to the person that paid for the service. I believe in Prophecies the moral boost was party wide but I could be wrong.

he doesn't offer to take you to the underworld.... just gives you some temp bonuses that u can purchase if your region has favor....

There is also an entrance in UW in Lornars Pass, one of the 7 Wonders of Tyria Acording 2 an other forum :P
THer is the temple of Grenth where its possible 2 get in the UW with or without favor, im not sure, ive bin ther while we had favor, and not when we hadnt.:P

Almost every map has a shrine or two. They don't allow you to enter UW or any other area. The kneel emote will raise the spirit and allow you to purchase various enhanements for the entire party.

There are Grenth/Balthazar statues in Zin Ku Corridor which actually do take you to UW/FoW, along with some other ones (Lyssa, Melandru) which seem inactive right now, just like in ToA.

Actually I've found it can be most any emote. My friend and I stumbled upon the same thing during the FPE by using /sigh after we had died doing some quest. I think it might be nearly any emote, but those two at least work.

Also, I'm pretty sure they stick to whom ever purchased them, not the whole party. For instance the raise dp by 2% doesnt apply to everyone, just the purchaser.

I never thought to try any other emotes. And all my experience is with hench only, so I just assumed many were party wide.

Nice Try... Not Portal though. In the undercity has a similar res shrine that grants bonuses for nations with favor. Thus far i have found all the res shrine types with the voices popping out, Balths, Grenths, Melandrue, and the 3rd I cant think of at the moment... but no UW entrances...

A couple places i have noticed have "special areas" one under the imperial palace behind a grated door is a glowing box... Not sure what that is...
