I seem to remember that when I first fought Glint, almost a year ago, that she was pretty difficult. When I fought her with subsequent characters she also seemed very hard. I always needed a good PuG to put her down, henchies just weren't 'good' enough (and my guild is and has always been less than active).

Well, I just beat Glint last night with a full group of henchies...it was very easy. I only interrupted her crystal hibernation and it only took a few minutes. Now maybe I just got better at controlling the henchies, and the game in general, but it just seemed too easy...

Easy with an interrupter, always has been.

Yeah but you have +2 to all attributes from your silly duped SoJs, psshhh

It's really hard to make a single mob that can fight a whole group, but I would like to see Glint buffed significantly, with nicer loot

Yeah, I beat Glint for the first time on tuesday. I had a Pug to do it. Is it me, or did she get significally easier to beat her?

I noticed it too. I saw a few henchies take her fireballs like they were nothing. I also wanted to do the egg strafeing method, but when I held on to the egg, Glint was not attracted to attack me as a priority.

this has been changed quite long ago, think it was shortly after factions came out, because ritualist would get owned all the time holding the ashes (or have a really good tanker for everywhere in pve :P). most people only realised it through the book and gear trick being 'nerfed', but it was like that for everything you carry.

about glint..meh, havnt done dragons lair in ages, cant remember. :/ i only remember her being horrible hard to kill, cause of pugs..and henchies was a no for me back then since i was a mo/n and had no chance to change secondary, meaning i couldnt interrupt. :< gah, stupid pugs lol

making glint, the lich and shiro harder would be funny..they should deserve some *more* strenght for being level 31 (i think they all are?) :P

I don't know. Maybe it is easy if you have a ranger interrupter, but if you don't, it's quite hard, IMO.

I have the Protector of Tyria title, so have beaten Glint (several times in fact) with PUGs, and it didn't seem too bad. This was months ago.

The last couple nights I've been trying to help a guildie beat Glint, as that's the last bonus he needs for the Protector title. And we have failed 3 times so far with PUGs. The problem must be that we went in without an interrupting ranger I guess. We've never even got Glint's health bar less than 50% in the three tries.

My guildie is a warrior, and I've been going in with an SS necro build (SS, Awaken the Blood, Parasitic Bond, Arcane Echo, Desecrate Enchantments, Spinal Shivers, Reckless Haste, and Vampiric Gaze/or Rez - 12+3+1 in Curses). So I figured my Shivers would provide some sort of interrupt, but the problem has been that I apply Shivers to the beast, but then end up having to turn tail and run when she starts firing fireballs at me - two hits and I'm pretty much gone - and if no one is doing Cold Damage the shivers does nothing.

Anyway, my two cents is that maybe it's easy with an interrupting ranger, but please tell me an easy way to kill Glint without the interrupter.

they should add spectral agony, battle scars, impossible odds, and meditation of the reaper, along with all of the other skills glint already has, then lets see who can solo it :P

dont say wildblow either because guildwiki "This skill is not a stance, so Wild Blow will have no effect. This is a common misconception."

Went with my dom mesmer for the first time against glint and she was a pushover. All my other chars had trouble though.

Yeah, let's make Glint strong enough to defeat the Lich King and Shiro, so she can give us the job to defeat them, even though she could do it all by herself!

That's what always happens in games, absolute-uber npc sends you on quests they could easily do themselves
