im pretty sure the devs just made gwen for that quest with the flute that was lost. they had no intension on making gwen a huge deal. when the gwen craz came they decided to add in more stuff.

If you team up with someone with an "upgraded Gwen", (flute, cape, both) you get those upgrades too, even after that person leaves your party.

In theory no more capes need to be bought, ever. Just pass on your gwen to someone else before you leave searing =)

No, no burning. Because it was a magick meteor. So the stuff only got tattered and broken. Plus a magick meteor can send stuff flying as far as it wants.

There is no dead flower, there is no gwen quest as of now, no more need of making random guesses. All the pictures showing her coming back are PHOTOSHOPPED. dont believe anything here, there is nothing. It is mysterious that her stuff is in Kryta however there is NO explanation, and I doubt there will ever be.

And yes there is a quest for this whole gwen thing, lordofblah. Anet has said that it is a broken quest. Just send them an email about it, and they'll send you some auto response about it being a broken quest called gwens treasury. I don't think they'll fix it now though. And the items are just like that acient weapon they left in the deasert.
