Elite content? That's just an excuse for being lazy and not wanting to explore. It's only 1 platinum to enter the fissure of woe and this is split between 8 people often. All you have to do is be a LITTLE patient or have guild friends willing to go too.
Don't spit garbage about "elite" content if you're not willing to try to access it first. The djinn in sorrow's furnace is accessible to anyone who wants to spend more than an hour of exploration. Hell, all you have to do is follow the quests given by an npc on your way to the outpost.
And regarding gimmicky builds that use shove and wild blow. The same argument can be applied to most facets of the game. How do you counter an elementalist casting a spell? You cast interrupts or use damage mitigation like stances or healing. By reasoning of your explanation, because it is gimmicky and used by everyone, it should be able to be defeated by anything rather than a select set of abilities. "Deadly riposte should be effective against all classes because it's gimmicky that it should only work against melee characters." I'm all for creative builds, but it's illogical that you won't use whats effective. You can beat him without wild blow and shove, and knockdowns aren't exclusive to warriors, so what's the problem. The end game stuff is supposed to be hard to get to. I'm pretty sure they didn't expect you to carry all the materials and money needed to make the 15k armor, and they obviously didn't put a xunlai agent, so they probably intended to make it harder to get these items then just teleporting directly to them. You want pretty armor by teleporting? Go to House zu Heltzer. You want a pet bird? Go get the black moa and you won't cheapen the experience of shiro's final death.
10$ says someone complains that the black moa isn't always available even though you completed the quest before.
