Dragon's Lair bonus
I'm looking to finally kill Glint after many failed attempts with PuGs. I plan on doing it tonight sometime around 6-6:30 pm Central Standard Time.
The following is needed to make it a quick task:
Ranger with Greater Conflagaration (negates Jagged Skin)
Warrior with Wild Blow and Disrupting Chop (gets rid of Jagged Skin)
Necro with heavy degeneration
2 Monks, one healing, one prot
Nuker, able to possibly daze her
One extra tank
I myself will be playing a ranger with interrupts/crippling/poison.
Leave your IGN, which class you'll be playing, and what time you'll be on.

I got an alliance-mate asking for my help with that mission... she's a nuker and I need to get the mission done.
We should be on about then, so look us up!
me: Snoblind Donut (R/Mo)

How to beat Glint:
If you can get to Glint, you can kill her. 2 Monks, 5 of ANYTHING, and a R/X or X/R with Greater Conflagration and an Interupt.

Well, I have to apologize. I signed on an hour earlier than I had planned so I would have time to wrap up a few things before getting started and !#$&%^#$^%^*^^!!! Its another update, 500 files downloading – expanding. You guessed it, I am on a modem. An hour and 40 minutes later its done and I am in game. Of course you guys had already gone, hope it went well and you were successful. I will try again tonight with pugs or henchies.

All you really need is a necro with Spinal Shivers and cold damage weapons. Did it that way with with two pople and the rest hench. Super easy. Blind works wonders against her normal attacks as well.

FYI, Glint requires only 1 party member.
W/N
Final Thrust
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Bonetties defense
Grenths Balance
Distracting blow
Dolyak signet
Healing signet
14 Sword
12 Tactics
11 Strength
That's Lambda's build. Henched Glint. Easy. All you have to remember is that you need to disrupt Crystal Hibernation and Crystal Bond. GB means huge 400 point spikes.

If you still need people to do this, let me know.
I have a warrior with all Tyrian skills (and elites) and just about all Cantha's elites (and most skills too). The name is Dargoth Alfazul (W/R with all Ranger skills from Tyria (and elites) and most elites and many skills from Canthas)
I have a Monk with all Tyrian skills (and elites) and all Cantha's Elites (and most skills). The name is Tasha Myriad (Mo/E with all Elementalist Tyrian Skills (and elites) and most skills and elites from Canthas)
I have a Necromancer with all Tyrian skills (and elites) and just about all Cantha's skills (and elites). The name is Sireena Delmar (N/Me with all Mesmer Tyrian skills (and elites) and many Canthas skills and elites)
I have a Ranger with interupts and Greater Conflag (R/Mo). The name is Marvin Kilgore
I also have a Rit/N and a A/W. If you want add me to your friends list and pm when you are online. I will be using one of my characters, so you can pm me whomever I use.
I'm online about 7pm est.

This is absolutely the best way to do it. I've never failed using this method.

I had no idea Glint in a PuG was such a big deal. I just bought this game less than a week ago and did him the other night with a PuG. Didn't seem altogether too difficult.

i agree, i onli found out that she was a big deal when i started to use the whole of this forum, i failed miserably every time i went in with a PUG group but then did it a few days ago with hench easily using the build of Lambda's, its stupid i can get that build to work in there but not where it was first desined for but shes easy really once you are used to the game

I haven't tried this with my ritualist yet, but Dissonance + Ritual Lord at 16 communing + 15 spawning may work, as it will constantly interrupt Glint.

I did glint a few days ago with a mixed bag of results.
First time i went in with a nuker build with PUG's and got absolutely sloughtered by her. The ranger was useless at interrupting, all my nukes missed because everyone was running around like headless chickens. Not a good game.
Second time i decided to change my build and went with an air build. We absoutely hammered her. We changed out the ranger to one who actually knew how to interrupt. I cast blinding flash every five secs on glint to negate her attacks and the ranger would interrupt her skills. What damage she did manage to do was easily soaked up by our monk. Almost no regular attack due to blindess and no skill use thanks to interrupts made for a very easy fight indeed.

Our latest guild effort on her was a funny and different team with 4 necros, only one warrior, two monks (one was a hench) and a ranger. A MM allowed us to blaze through her lair and then BR'd the others at the end, the other necros were combinations of SS/FoC and Bloodspike if I recall. But what we really found out is that Spinal Shivers/Shivers of Dread + cold damage from Necros and a Warrior with Ice Breaker/berserker stance is greater than Glint any day of the week

i can see why it was effective ive used spinal shivers instead of Br in UW and it worked great vs the terror webs, though with more than one cold dmg weapon glint would have no chance, did the ranger have winter? cause winter + spinal shivers would make it alot better if you were all using elemental dmg weapons. what necro weapon were you using, am i right in saying vilnar's claw, as isnt that the only cold dmg necro weapon?
