It's just looks light blue.
Maybe i should've done more research first.

Hmm, Yellow should have done the trick. Did you accidently use Dye Remover instead?

The way I see it, people are wasting too much silver dyes (although they can probably afford to). Anyways, why not use a dye remover only as a test on the armor. Now if the dye remover shows that the base color of the armor is not yellow, then you do not have a choice and must use the yellow. If it is yellowish then try yellow only probably on a different armor to compare. Pick the lighter of the two colors as the base color (or yellow if the remover does not make it yellow). Adding a silver to the base makes it lighter. Adding silver to the base three times makes it even more lighter. So you have either yellow+silver+silver+silver or possibly dye remover+silver+silver+silver (that doesn't always work). I have not tested this because I cannot afford it, but would love to make my monks armor white in the future and this seems like the method to make it as white as possible. You can probably even test out with a dye remover only to see what parts of the armor is dyable to see if it's worth changing the color.

Confirmed - First off it's hard to even mix Blue with Blue. It won't let you double click a stack and apply it to the same stack. So I got one in my storage and one in my inventory and applied one to the other (why does that work? I don't know) The result is exactly the same color. I have screenies if anyone needs proof.

Unconfirmed - You might think that was the case, but after I dyed my platemail white (YS3) I tried dye remover and got a bit of a yellow color. Tried dye remover again - no change. What's that about?
And the YS3 formula does make platemail white - as much as you can dye drok's platemail. The dye-able areas are much smaller than the blue-silver that the main, non-dye-able areas are. So you're left with normal armor with white trim.

Hmm. Some armors come dyed a color that is not their base. I think Droknar's Tormentor's Armor for Necros is one such example.
I am also such an offender. I have spend over 50k testing formulas.

Do differerent tatoos dye differently? I just saw a monk with white tatoos and asked him what color they were. He told me plain silver.

seems that 3 silvers and a dye remover makes it er.... grey in some areas... AFAIK there is no proper white dye formula, and even mixing red green and blue comes out more hideous than I first thought...
I'll try and see what it comes out of on a spare drop item that I've found before I conclude the 'closest thing to paper-white'
also, it does show up brilliant white on my uber-hammer (ish, the Yellow +3 silvers) so it's just what type of item you have before testing. The Necro and Monk tattoos have different color sheets as well as the Chaos Axe.

I have on my Ranger Armor, what could be considered a 'dirty white'. The formula:
Silver + 1 Dye Remover + 1 Dye Remover + 1 Dye Remover
The Dye Remover is mixed to the Silver before placing on the armor. You will notice that the color of the new 'Mixed Dye' is nowhere near White. I placed it on the armor anyway and was very suprised at the outcome!
So, Silver Dye in the bag, applied 3 Dye Removers no matter the look of the result, then applied it to armor. It is the best formula I have seen for White as it seems to come the closest.
No perfect 'White Mantle' White, but dirty white is OK for me.
(if this was mentioned earlier, my apologies)

No perfect white dye, if you consider white to be R(255),G(255),B(255). You can get close, but you won't get it.

Of course not. I made a not in the original post that it is actually a "cream." I just wish I could get Evennia white.

this is my 15k ranger armor before and after. you tell me which one is which.
defenitly not worth the money. in game there is no way anyone would even tell that is white (or what claims to be white).

exactly
those pics are taken from the closest if can get with my own camera. in game most people have birds eye view and will never get close enough to you to even notice it. not worth the 18k it cost to make 5 of these dyes (silver keeps going up b/c of this).

I tried this (yellow+silver+silver+silver) on my 15K Aeromancers, it's more of a tanned colour as someone here mentioned. Screenshots for those of you wanting to try before you buy:
