Does anybody know how to get dye to look well on Memsmers? Almost every type of dye is a bit different on them.

I can confirm that Yellow + Silver + Silver +Silver = White on 15k Druid's. I think the results were really, really simliar with just 2 silvers. I don't have pictures, but that's because I didn't like how it looked so I overrode it with Yellow + Green instead I mean, ya don't exactly go kicking butt in jungles in white clothes. They get dirty. No ajax would take care of that.

That's a lot of silver, would take a lot to make this 'white' dye.
Told and guildie and he tried it out, it does look white, but not true white. But its very close to say the least.

there is no white dye on the guild wars dye color spectrum, no matter how many scammers say selling white dye, its just some combonation of silvers

Im pretty certian if you put silver on silver you get silver
so 1 silver and dye remover is the same,
as 3 silver and dye remover
And just out of interest, if you put a silver + dye remover combo on the warrior dragon armour (15k), you get purple

Of course not. Some of us just want to get close.
I update the post with the fact the Dye Remover seems to at as a Vial of Dye of the base color of the armor you use it on. So if you were to use it on Mesmer green armor, Dye Remover + Silver would get you a light green, while Dye Remover + 3 Silver would get you a paler green.

A few days before this thread I got the same info on 'white dye'. Here is the look on my ranger armor:
yellow-silver-silver-silver on 15k cold armor. The mask is plain silver.
The same armor, more in close up.

Before you splash out remember, it depends on the armour type. What might work on ranger armour might not work on platemail etc.

Ok i have decided tongiht i am going to try evertying i can think of to get my platemail "white"
im thinking so far
yellow + silvers
silvers + dye removers
purple + yellow = brown then loads of either silver or loads of dye remover
and last of all if all else fails
black + silvers
black + dye removers
(if anyone has tried it with blacks please let me know before i waste my money, which i dont have much of).

Black + silver(s) = grey...
so how on Earth do you think black produces any sort of 'white' I'm not sure... don't waste black dyes.
Heck you may as well give them to the more needy, namely me

On 15k droks warrior <Platemail, namely> since it comes blue, you just need to word color wheel scenarios over blue to produce white. I've seen it done before, the armor still was grey tinted though, not true white <you really can't, not on metallic armor> but you sure can try

Damn, I swear the guy that had white 15k Platemail was using Yellow + 3 Silver.
Good luck, aron. Yellow + Silvers is your best best, although Silvers + Dye Remover might work.
Purple + Yellow normally results in a shade of magenta.
Don't bother with Black. Trust me.

Black will be the absolutly last resort, im starting with the yellows ect first.
I was thinking black + silver + silver + silver = v light grey
then somehow turning that grey into white, also i dont know how white/grey that combo would actually turn on on metal.
Also ive never tried multiple dye removers+silver ect on black.
but, i dont think i want to find out.
Also what works on plate wont work on my dragon, whatever i do i want to experiment with the chepo colours first.

Yes, its strange. On cloth it comes out brown, on plaitmail if i remember rightly purpleish (or is that magenta, im no good with colours).

I have a monk with a red base on her armor. Will Yellow + Silver (x3) make her armor white? I think it's judges armor, but I'm not really sure.

You guys know it's possible to mix silver + silver + silver + silver?
The way you do it, is you have a silver dye in your storage, then have someone trade silver to you.
Then you mix these 2 silver dyes together, then you buy additional silver dye and mix them together to get 4xsilver.
I haven't personnally mixed this dye before, but I've done it with different dye.
