I took thw Whisperers quest and completed it, but somehow did NOT get him as a hero. Now I can't do Poghan Passage (because I took the Whisperer quest), and I can't do Nundu Bay either. (Have tried BOTH as leader of party AND with someone else as leader who CAN get in - yes I know Melonni is needed for Nundu Bay).

I have done every single primary AND secondary quest available to me. I have NO quests, cannot get any more, have traveled to every portal on the map (4-5 are LOCKED), and can't do either of the two missions that would progress me along the story line.

If anyone can offer any suggestions, I'd be grateful.

UPDATE:

OK I figured it out but am leaving this post in case others get stuck.

After you you kill the 5 sets of Droughtlings for the Master of Whispers quest, you have to talk to Dehjah IN THE SAME ZONE to progress the story line - she's a little ways away from the last kill, up a hill. I zoned to Riloh Refuge, where Dehjah gives the next mission. But without having talked to her immediately after the quest was done, she wouldn't talk to me for the mission. So, follow quest instructions CLOSELY. I found the Master of Whispers back where the quest originated (Estate), and was given it again to complete.
