Tactics/build for Ruins of Morah
hey,
i'm quite stuck at this mission.. tried it for 3 days now, tried both strategies (killing demons, focussing on varesh) but none of these work.
i'm playing a warrior (riposte/shove build)
any1 got any tips on defeating varesh? (2nd.. 1st is no problem)
EDIT:
i know the demon agro thingy, but doesnt work.. i dnt kill em fast enough or so but they just duplicate.. after killing one group, 2 groups spawn...
2nd edit:
Tried again (20th time) took hex removers with me... it worked =P
thx

is quite easy if after defeating the first varesh you run to the opposite side, where the closed door is and keep heros and henchies there while you pull the demon's that are on the sides, after killing them try to pull varesh and then kill her... i had no problemas doing this, i defeated her the first try. Also remember to take in a hero something to clean hexes, she uses a very powerfull hex, normally she will use it on you.
btw, i'm having problems to get the masters in this quest, we tried out some guildies and made it in 9 minutes... and that wasn't masters, so... how much time is? 5min :s? also if anyone has some tips to do it in masters will be great

I got masters at 7:29, so it might be under 8 minutes?
Oddly enough, I had no troubles here (whereas Sebelkah and Dasha Vestibule were very hard for me). After beating Varesh the first time, I retreated my squad to the door I came in and fought the demons from there. It was a few patrols at a time and I could take 'em out without much trouble, and then moved on to Varesh, who was a pushover.

Other than the clerics in the beggining, we focused on Varesh the whole time.
She had like every condition possible on her, ans she never spent long up from knockdown. There was also the massive damage going to her.

Yeah we did it in under 4. But after you kill her the first time (granted your not a tank and can pound on her while the spawns come out), run for the door and take out the spawns group by group then procced to kill varesh. If you have enough guildies that are r 2-4 with gaze (lightbringer) you could easily do this one in about 3 minutes.

Taking 2 copies of "Shields Up!" and chaining them works wonders against Varesh's Paragon form, which has an uncanny ability to headshot hero monks.

Yeah, this strategy works very well.
Just did it with one monk and a rit, others supplemented by random classes. Kill Varesh first, then dash for the door, take out demons for a little bit and they stop spawning. Then you're free to kill Varesh.
Got Master's like that
