beating mission with wurm? *possible spoiler*
I'm at the Gate of desolation mission, i see the wurm in the middle but unable to get to it because of the instant death. How do i kill/charm/beat the mission? Thanks

Its simple really. You read what Joko is saying. He tells you what you must do. Just dont go into the sulphur.

Stay in the area directly adjacent to the wurm spoor; the enemies and finally the Queen come to you. Don't go after her, or insta-death for you!

and make sure to bring Warriors/Rangers with you! The Anti-Spell crap on some of her minions is horrid for us casters! The mission is well worth it and fun once you finally beat her though

This mission was great, me and a buddy had a great time after we got the queen.
One thing to watch for though was after you defeat the waves and the queen doesn't come in, you might have to go talk to Joko again to get him started on the commentary, then it should work fine. I even tried to bravely shadowstep out to the queeny but I'm glad she's an npc and it didn't work after I walked out there! lol. |

All you do is click the wurm spool and the Queen will send out her minions to test you. PLEASE NOTE HAVE THE FLAG BEHIND THE WURM SPOOL OR YOUR HEROS WILL RUN OUT AND DIE!. Just kill the waves of monsters. When the Queen comes hit her till she runs off and sends other waves at you. After that just repeat till she gives in.

Bring smites. Lots of undead on this mission. Barrage + judge's insight mows 'em down pretty quick. I would imagine you'd get the same effect with Heart of Holy Flame.
