NPC in Crystal Outlook
After exploring some I found this npc in Crystal Outlook. When you talk to him he talks about not being able to admit you to the Crystal Desert of Tyria, or something similar, until you know the dangers.
Anyone else know something about this? Is there a way to get past him and go to another zone? Here's the NPC. Here's the exact location on the map. He's the black circle (lol paint). This is my first post here so please be nice  .

I'm thinking that it does involve a quest, as when you speak to him you get an option, you know--with the question mark in front of it like in quests?
It says "I'll be on my way." So I'm guessing that he does involve a quest. Elite mission maybe  ?

Ah I see, does it involve that quest item Zentukah's horn or w/e that's found on that map?

If you have Prophecies he can teleport you to the Arid Sea if your character has been there before.

The quest also takes you to a certain special someone in the desert...who hates griffins.

A lot of people have already posted this - you get the quest from Shandara and he teleports you. :]
