Question
If you have a green armor on one of your characters and when you go back to hero armor guy and pick teh same guy it asks if youwant to switch to default armor.
1. do you get the green armor back when you switch back to default?
2. does it switch to default and you loose the armor?
3. Once you get the armor for the character you can switch back and fourth between the two armors?
Anyone know?

You can switch back and forth however much you want. Also, it only changes the look, so any runes you have applied will be on the look you choose.

oh and another thing i definatly agree that that amor should have been the Sin FOW armor. FOW armor should be something schnazzy and something that pops out in the crowd.

One thought that came to my mind is that I think that since you can switch betwen default and hero upgraded armor that you should be able to have two different sets of runes. For example one for a blood setup and one for a curses setup. All my characters have at least two sets for when I use different builds. Since we are limited on the heroes we should at least get two sets or we have to keep buying runes!!!!!
Hmmm an other guildwars sinkhole!!
Hopefully areanet will realize this and upgrade that in the future.

ok about the wurm challange
ok ive done this challange for about 4 hours scored about 105-150 each time ... no armor killed plunty of lost souls .. so it has to be completly random ... or luck ... or it could be going off the base of your titles who klnows and we will prolly never know .. this is one thing im sure gw wanted this way to make the game more challanging while they start there next chaoppter maybe who knows it sure is keeping me busy thats for sure any way in the end .. its like this ... highest scoring person on there has 700 points or wut not chance of armor droping for him/her same as some one who scored 5 points etc... good luck and have fun

Didn't Anet say something like there being a limited number of them per character, so they recommended you using them on your own heroes instead of trading?
Where did I see that...Guild Wars insider maybe?

Hmm I did not see that black on white, but it did seem to be something they were pointing towards between the lines. But I cant remember them saying it explicitly
Anyway, I did the wurms mission, and I (think I) got an armor after I killed a Lost Soul. At least a few kills before, it wasnt there and directly after I killed it, I checked it.

Just a note that could be totally a coincidence but I doubt it since 6 of us tested this but at the first challenge mission at Dajkah Inlet every single one of us if you clear the first level then just keep going to after 50 points and die you will receive a green armor. For the third challenge mission at The Shadow Nexus every single one of us got to over 100 points and received a green armor in our inventory.
As for the second challenge mission at Remains of Sahlahjah only one of us kept doing it and he said he thinks it was at 75 and I also talked to a few others and they confirmed to they where at around 75 and they got a rune placed in there inventory.
That makes me think that its 50, 75, 100 as you go thru each one although only 6 people could be considered speculation. Also note that this only works on the first character you bring thru and then it is totally random after you have achieved the scores at the three places.
edit, oh and this is using heroes and henchies only in your party other then the wurm one where you are solo.

Um, Meo, you don't have to keep buying runes.
Heroes' armor are indestructable, so when you salvage runes off of it, the armor will never be destroyed.
All you need to do, is have each type of rune, and when you wan to switch, just expert salvage the rune off of your armor, and apply the other one.
You can use this trick to use heroes to be your rune storage btw.
Only cost involved is the single usage of expert salvage kit.

Well dont know what to say. I do know that these scores where achieved on our first try though. Last night I told a couple other people that asked and it worked for all of them too on their first try through. I can also state that I finally beat 75 on the wurm one and didnt get my rune but a friend of mine who was their first time thru did get over 75 and got a rune.
Like I said could be pure coincidence but its a pattern I have noticed that seems to work. Dont forget these where not drops but ones that just magically appeared in inventory. I know a guy that got one and ended up selling it to vendor and noticed it as they clicking through selling stuff. ooopsie

i would hva eto agree there is sort of a pattern
but soo many hours of tring and staying between 50-100 constantly killing at least 1 lost soul every time and not receiving any armor ... is very discouraging oh well i guess there will never be a known way to get these armors eh .. oh well
