A guildie of mine needs a wants a trial key for Factions, and unfortunately I've used mine up. Can anyone help please?

Does anyone have a free trial key I can have, I don't really care which game the key is for. I've just been getting kinda tired of WoW even after wrath was just released and Guild Wars looks like a lot of fun, but I don't want to spend 30$ on a game before I can try it. Can anyone please help me?

Thanks, but I ordered the Trilogy myself since gogamer.com had to for under $30.00. They had the original for under $5.00, but it looks like they don't have that item anymore.

I got the Platinum Edition...

They only thing I wish this game had was PvE in an open world like WoW. But, I don't want to pay 15 dollars a month to play WoW either, haha.

I'm gonna be honest, I was looking for a way to play Guild Wars this weekend and just made an account here in hopes of getting a trial key. I have already ordered trilogy and should get it some time in the middle of this week.

I've been reading so much about this game and can't wait to get it. That's why I want to play it as soon as possible. You know the feeling. I can't get excited about any other game, now that this is on my mind. So, if someone thinks I'm worthy of getting a trial key, please send it to me. I'll be very gratefull. It would save the rest of my weekend.

I've been wondering why they don't just let eveyone try it for free. Why force people to beg on the internet for a trial key? I will now share my thoughts on this matter.

Let's say they let people have their 10 hour/14 day trial. That doesn't seem so bad. I'm sure lots of people would try it, maybe even buy it. How did they find out about this trial anyway? Maybe a friend, or just happened to hear about it on the interenet. They obviously spent enough time to download the client and must know something about the game. Whe whole aura of the site made me want to learn more.

It wasn't long before I was sure I wanted it. Now, if there was a free trial, I may of tried it before buying, but I would probably end up buying it anyway. The trial wasn't needed to make me want the game. Well, maybe someone else isn't so sure. It's only thirty dollars right? I couldn't be that bad. so the person buys it. They end up not liking it, but they already bought it. If there was a free trial, they probably wouldn't of bought it.

Now let's look at the basics. Why do companies even give you free trials? They feel that it will give them more customers. Would Guild Wars have more customers if they gave a free trial out? Nobody knows. They seem to think no though. They believe that their players will be enough to make people want the game, and all the videos, and boasting will be enough. They might be right. Why go through all the trouble of free trials if in the end it woun't significantly raise sales?

They have a different method. If you get a free trial key with your purchase, you obviosly liked the game enough to buy it. You'll most likely give it to a friend while telling them all about it. Imagine your the friend being told. You'll most likely want to try the game, and you'll get to with the trial key. In the end it's very likely for you to buy the game, since your friend has it and you can play together. That's the way they believe it will work.

Although it would be nice to be able to play the game for free for a bit, I can see why they don't give it to you.
