Any other way to collect CC shards?
Is there any other way to collect CC shards besides the snowball fight yet?

Sure, they drop from random red dots now. I just got one in Kryta...from a Hellhound.

I noticed too that they drop more often in pre-searing...

I think they just have a 5% (not accurate) drop rate from everything, because Im getting them from all kinds of mobs, at pretty much the same rate.

I have 12 in pre-searing, after about an hour of playing (and not even constant killing). It could be true that they drop the most quickly in pre-searing, but I'm not entirely sure.
They even drop in Fort Aspenwood btw  Pretty stupid...

I got one off of an untamed pet (Needed the corpse for MM). I never expected one to drop from a pet. I cant remember its name though. It was one of them pets north of LA. I was doing a winterday quest at the time.

Anything can drop them, it is probably more likely to drop in pre since the 'choice' of items for the item drops is much more limited.
