It's nice to hear that people like the guide and are trying it out. Sorry to hear about your computer problems Manchild. And about going for the skeletons, you can take out if you want, even with this build, I just find it quit demanding after clearing the forest. But then again, if I still have the stamina for it I'd rather spent my time going for the Spider Cave. I'll be healing a bit more without Dolyak Signet, but it's doable.

Few things imho, I still get lightning damage of 120+ with mantra of lightning on me, 3 spikers is constant healing till one dies (or I die).

With elemental resistance, it's MUCH better, although the patrol with the spirit spammer and the 3 spikers is a bit hard due to the Primal Echoes he lays down and you need a zealous weapon, but the damage is much much less. Pretty good drops so far too

One more question though, after clearing the left side of the forest if you enter, how do I get to the right side without aggroing the skeletons? Skeletons are a pain but "doable". I just run back to the plains and go to the other entrance, killing some trappers on the way

the thing i like about mantra of lightning is that with it and the zealous weapon i can keep spamming 100B constantly. the healing doesn't give me any trouble anymore, mainly because i'm used to it, i guess. Sure it works with elemental resist aswell.

I sprint away from the skeletons and not bother with them, or I enter from the east side.

im having a lot of trouble with this build, iv tryed a few times
iv even took a guilde to help do it for some 2 man but still having trouble doing it

im using glads chest and legs and ascalon boots and gloves and helm
allso using Hod Helm
Victos Axe, and Minor runes

I have tried this build myself with full glads armor and ascalon helm, thinking the difference between that and platemail wouldn't make that much of a difference, it did.

So its either up to you if you want to invest in it or not, I mean it doesn't have to be 15k platemail and superior runes of vigor and absorption. It can be done with major runes of vigor and absorption aswell.

Like I said it's all up to you if you want to make that investment, i did, not just for farming this place, but i think its nice to have an armor thats great vs physical, glads, and one that is good or better than vs elemental, platemail.

I'm glad that people are liking the build and guide provided and are trying it out. I feel somewhat proud, this being my first guide and real build and all

There are some free video recording programs on the web to make videos, but unfortunely I don't know any of them. I think Fraps and Game cam are some.

they moved it to a collector in the desert, 5 Bleached Shells, northeast of Thirsty River.

me and a guildie have been trying this run and where both having a hard time pulling it off......couldnt even beat the first group of guys.... some help please?

did they change somthing? to make it harder?

im using 15k Glads and Ascalon infused Minor Runes

that looks exactly like my build minus mantra of lightning and final thrust (I use desperation blow). I think that you would do better with elemental resistance instead of the mantra, (it reduces the damage alot more) but I'd highly recommend using a zealous sword hilt.

If I were you I would Swap Mantra of Lightning for Elemental Resistance. Only use MoL if you are looking for more of a challenge. The rest looks ok but I have never personally ran ViM as my elite down there.

First of all, and i have mentioned this before: It is harder when using galdiators, platemail does make all the difference. How is attribute distribution? Or use elemental resistance, I have no problems using MoL myself.

I cant comment on the usage of ViM, seeing as I havent used that in the forest myself.

Also when fighting the Shepherds I use the fiery dragon sword with the +7 vs elemtal attacks, only when i get low on energy i switch to the zealous / or when fighting spiders. Sever and gash will slow down the fight against the few spiders encountered aswell, because of Melandru's Resilience.

Major point here is: The difference between platemail and gladiators, im not telling you you should invest in the platemail or dragons for that matter, im just saying its a key point.

And no, they havent changed anything to make it harder, I can still do it just fine with the build provided.
