Today I just hit a few ritualist bosses for skill cap and they drop some NF skin normal ritualist gears which made me wonder why I dont see those on regular monster or chest drop.

It would be nice to hear if anyone seen some Rt items out side of Green,Collectors source.

I'm sure i've had Rit things drop in NF, nothing that i can remember though.

But you wanna hear strange ... I had a gold raven staff Req 9 communing drop in prophecies.

So if you can get a Rit weapon in prophecies, I'm pretty sure you can get one in NF.

Yeah, it happens. When I used to farm trolls outside Drok's, I'd get a lot of ritualist-based Raven Staves. I'm pretty sure it only affects staff drops, however, because I've never seen ritualist focii or wands, same for assassin daggers.

Yeah, I have seen staff/wand with universal attibute droped as rit's attribute requirement.But not the rits only skin like shamanic wand or NF skinn channeling wand.

Rit equipment drops all over in elona and prophesies, I'd like to think that they drop *more* often in Cantha (except for the rare rit in elona), but I haven't done any number crunching.

I got a fair few "req. Spawning" staffs from chests including the free WIntersday chests in Elona. Handy really...I said to a guildie "I need a nice gold req 9 spawning staff for my rit"...then i opened a free chest and one popped out!

personally, I am sick of the sheer amount of ritualist weapons that drop in elona (far more than factions ever did) and while on the subject I think anet should rename "acient elonian chest" to "Assasins elonian chest".
Maybe the game has detected that I don't have an assasin and is foolishly trying to tempt me with a constant string of purple daggers. Maybe the game code is so sophisticated that it has detected that ever since the spirit rebalance, my ritualist has turned into a mule who never leaves the guild hall and that a slew of bad ritualist equipment is enough to coax her out of retirement.

...or maybe it's just the dumb luck of the drops, we just smile, sigh and get on with it

(is anyone else haunted by the garunteed appearance of a non-max firey dragon sword every visit to and elite area?)

I don't worry about it, since I'm usually running a healer rit with attuned, so I'm not holding a staff at all for most of the time.

I think its just your luck Gou. My luck means that 75% of all chests I open ends up being a scythe. Dont even have a dervish.
