Well as everyone knows there is a triple green drop weekend in Factions this weekend. Well my ranger has gone thru it but I have been working on a Sin for solo boss farming. I have not gotten her that far thru(only up to Tahnnakai Temple but would like to get her to Unwaking Waters by Friday when the drop weekend starts.

So if anyone can help or has the same idea and would like to come along please reply here or just whisper me tonight or tomorrow night.

To be honest this isn't a difficult of a task. When I got my Dervish into Cantha, I got them to House Zu Zeltzer in like 3 to 4 hours (would be same for Cavalon about). Just hit the campaign like everyone else, and you should be to unwaking waters probally by sometime tommorow (depending on your play time of course).

powering through factions ain't all that hard if you stick to the primairies.

I would suggest if you have Nightfall to go atleast pick up the basic hero set, just for the monks if nothing else. But from where you are at you should be able to finish faction in roughly 6 hours. this does not take into account the 10000 faction you will need and will either have to quest for or do AB.

I myself have a luxon guild , but found that going the kurzick way is easier to accomplish. ok so the faction is a bit of a pain but hey no pain no gain

Really quite easy, honestly. Got bored and brought my Paragon over. Went right thru to Arborstone so far (3 hours of playing). Missed masters on Vizunah by 7 seconds (with me and 15 heroes/hench), masters on Naphui, Tahnnakai Temple, and Arborstone.

I wanted to use up some faction that I had stored (got my necro some 15k kurzick), so I rushed my Nightfall Ranger through, and yeah, like these others said, probably about 6 hours. I made it to the Brauer Academy and the 'Defenders of the Forest' quest in about 3-4, before cashing in the faction and then going on to other stuff.

The most annoying thing was getting Masters with Heroes and Hench on missions that took extreme effort to get with full parties of intelligent people. Vizunah especially hurt after all the effort to get Masters on that for the first time.

Thanks for the help from Hyun Chae Soon who helped me thru a couple quests and a mission last night.

Overall I played for like 4 hours or so and got up to Sunjiang District. Did a couple of AB's but am only up to like 2.5k Kurz faction. So tonight I need not only do missions but have to get enough faction for HZH befriending Kurz

Oh I did also take everyone advice on the heroes. I picked up Olias and the other set. Koss, Mel and the monks who I used

well, apparently you all are much better at this game than I am.

I have this mesmer I wanted to drag though (I'm in it for the canthan 15k armor at the end for that toon) and it's been like root canal surgery.

Found one great PUG that got us through "Closer to the Stars" after three Leroy teams. Other than that, it's been spend two hours+ per mission trying to find a group that comprehends the word strategy. The midgame missions are about empty of bodies. If you can do it with heroes, more power to you.

Geez, I must be really bored. I just heroed/henched myself to Shiro. Didn't have enough time to try him before I went to work. Unwaking (me, 3 heros, 12 hench) took 6:45 (masters) and Raisu was my fastest time ever with heros/hench (faster than any PUG; this is my 9th char at Shiro). 17:45. I was stunned...also had to get out the door to work, so maybe I pushed it.

On the powering thru, my heroes have been:
Master of Whispers, 15 in death magic (MM)
Zhed Shadowhoof, air spiker, 16 in air magic. Invoke Lightning works wonders on afflicted.
Margrid the Sly, pure interrupter (BHA) with Black Moa pet.

Only two I'll have to redo is Vizunah and Eternal Grove so far.
