It should be very easy as a mm.. Sounds wired you died.. There is a lot of corpses to raise a bone army off.. Just make a mm with monk as secondary.. Animate flesh golom, animate bonde friends, blood of the master, dark bond, heal areal, healing breeze.. ALways keep up dark bond and healing breeze.. When U use blood of the master always have heal breeze on and use heal area just after.. I realy shound't be a problem to take down those few screes..

I guess I'm through with nightfall. I can't possibly beat that stupid mime part.
That MUST be taken out of the mission. Never got more than 1 right, and it takes 15. Impossible.

Its not impossible. The mime part is so easy, I find it hard to believe you can't do it.
Check the mission section on Guildwiki, it lists all the emotes he will use which you need to copy. I managed to do it on the 3rd try... I typed and excuted all the various emotes, so that way when he did them I just up/down arrowed to the emote, saving the trouble of typing it.
He uses Male Ranger emotes, so if you can't tell what he's doing, make a quick Male Ranger in PvP and do the emotes.
If you can't do this bit, what hope have you got doing the much much harder missions later....

Besides, why would you quite the game just because you couldn't get Masters on one mission?
I just tried the mission for the first time, and I didn't realize the drinking contest had a time limit until I was too far into it to succeed. Oops.
But three of the five tasks are easy -- two solo fights and the dance -- so I accepted my Expert reward and will just play on until I want either a change of pace or a skill point.
By the way -- I took an elementalist, and a standard earth solo farming build with Mantra of Resolve worked fine. The same build wouldn't work in the wild, but the harpies don't concentrate enough force on you to kill you. (The reason it doesn't work in the wild is that the paragons break your stance twice and then Distracting Shot dooms you.)
As a general guide to builds -- the hard things about fighting harpies are interrupts and bleeding. The Mending mentioned earlier may have been more than 50% a joke, but regeneration actually is a good thing against them.

Just take you caracter there.. Open this site: http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Tihark_..._%28Mission%29
Then 2-3 times you make the emotes listed on the page.. Don't concentrate to do them right, just concentrate to learn them.. Then it realy shouldnt be hard for you.. It have nothing with skills to do, only a brain challenge.. There is only 10 emotes you shall learn, and then it is very easy--- Just concentrate on learning your emotes.. And you can try over and over an unlimited time..
And its not 15 right emotes in a row, its only 10..

I got the mission done just now WITHOUT having to do the emote contest. I thought that was a required part of mission but I guess not. I did have to start over a couple of times to get the harpies though. That last pair is quite tough.

I thought the emote contest was required for mission. Just found out that it's not by accidently triggering cutscene and getting to the harpies. Got killed first time, but I'm by there now.

The emotes, the drinking contest, the dance, the vase, & the play are for the bonus. If you just want the mission to move on, you are not required to do those. Bonus is required if you want the protector title. If you're not looking to get one of those, you don't need to do any of the extra stuff.

I've learned to expect the unexpected with Anet now. I always make sure i'm ready for a tough fight...especially after being told to go alone. Too suspicious.
Mission was a piece of cake and the ranger emote test was like using a second language. (I knew there was a reason why my number one character i made was a ranger )
I am however stuck on a later mission, which is very frustrating. Makes THK look like a breeze.
I think i'm going to have to dig up as many guides as i can.

My first time through the mission was on my healing monk, so I had to staff all the Skree (And Joko) to death ;P

Just beat it on my warrior, easiest mission in the game (And they are all easy) and I had absolutely no self heal. I didn't even know I would end up fighting before the mission was over. The gaurds can do EVERYTHING for you. GL.
